My wife and I took our daughter, son-in-law and grandson to 40 North for dinner. It was a Friday evening and we had reservations early in the evening. We were greeted with friendly faces and seated quickly. When it came to ordering, our bunch had dietary restrictions regarding gluten and nightshade. It was certainly not a problem for the server or the kitchen crew. We ordered the Halibut, Spaghetti and Rib Eye steak. The youngster had chicken fingers and fried. The server brought the child's food early. (Good thinking) The food was EXCELLENT! The servings we quite large but not to the point of being crazy big. Our server, Chara, was attentive and right on top of things. Our reservations were for 5:15 and by the time we were leaving the place was gathering a crowd. It was a truly pleasant experience.
My wife and I and another couple went for their Prime Rib Buffet which included seafood too. Prime rib was very good and the shrimp were excellent. It was quiet and easy to talk and just have a nice evening. It's a Veterans club and not set up for ambiance. It is just good value and well managed. Will go back again if we are ever in Grand Island.

Images Bar & Grill located within Ramada Midtown serves the best steak on South Locust, only serving fresh cut Certified Angus Beef. All menu items are made from scratch in our kitchen. Images has a large selection of alcoholic beverages or beer to compli
We were there for the solar eclipse and ate twice here. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the food. It was served hot, very well presented and was delicious.Wait staff were very pleasant and friendly. We ate there the night after the eclipse and while the restaurant was incredibly busy, the staff were still friendly and efficient.Prices were reasonable. There was a variety of items to choose from to satisfy anyone's taste and fancy. There were plenty of TV's going all the time, so one could watch whatever sporting event was going on at the time. Pool tables are in the back. There is a DJ playing tunes on the weekends, but the music was not playing too loudly, so we could still have dinner without being overwhelmed by the music.

Grand Island's first speakeasy experience is the place to be if youâre looking for a top-notch drink and a quality dish with a Prohibition theme.
Service was lack luster at best and food not worth the price. Our server didn't know the beer menu and the manager even got a simple menu enquiry wrong. My husband had a very small and over priced average at best prime rib. Now, I have a strong stomach and was enjoying my food until I took a mouthful of salt which sent my stomach rolling. We felt very rushed when our server brought us our check when we were not even half way through our food and said that she didn't want to rush us but wanted to make us aware that there was a line waiting. My local advice...if you want great prime rib, go just down tbe road to images, a little known gem.First and foremost I would like to personally apologize for your recent Tommy Gunz Bistro experience. We take great pride in having our âTommy Gunzâ team deliver great hospitality and quality food with outstanding atmosphere with a genuine commitment to our guests each and every visit. I understand that you made a choice to visit our location and we let you down. Thank you again for taking your time to share your concerns. Found this place during the State Fair and enjoyed. Stopped here again on a business trip. Dined alone, had great service. Always seems to be busy. The homemade queso is very tasty. I would recommend going here, lots to choose from on the menu and good service

Pam,s is always our first lunch stop once we arrive in Grand Island! The fried chicken is the best ever, anywhere! Your choice is white or dark.. we always choose the white meat, two huge breasts and a wing plus salad bar and potatoes and gravy..The only down side is that itâs instant potatoes, but hey, we came for the chicken!Plan on taking one Breast home for lunch tomorrow! The pie is to die for, but I seldom have room! My favorite is the coconut meringue!

Menu too large and too many odd changes to typical Irish fare. Awesome beer selection, 24 draft taps, 75+ bottles. Wings night special were undercooked m, but large sized. Shepardâs Pie was not tasty, kind of weird, likely the ingredients since lamp was chunks instead of ground as in Ireland. Waitress was great, checked back several times, was best part of dinner. Lots of televisions, but no sound on and no closed captioning during NFL game. Way too loud with just people talking. Nice pub to drink, but not eat.

Very Good Food, Friendly Service, and less of a sports bar atmosphere than you might think.
This is a cool and good place downtown Grand Island. The people are very friendly and the food is good. Choice of beer is also great. We had spicy chicken wings and local beer. The building is also like historical and give a good atmosphere.

Wow! The spinach artichoke dip was smooth and creamy and scrumptious. My spouse was delighted with the burnt ends grilled cheese. I was completely satisfied with the Railside. We were so impressed, we tried to go back the next two days, but turns out they aren't open Sundays and Mondays. So we missed out. Them being closed on Sundays and Mondays was surprising. And disappointing. But then we had to head back to Oregon.Dang it!! Sorry about being closed Sunday and Monday:) These small towns shut down on those days:)Please please come see us again soon! What a great review
