This place ain't fancy. But it is functional, with excellent food, service, and prices. The food is typical diner fare, with very good breakfasts and lunches, and it appears they will soon be open for dinner as well. The servers here are friendly and prompt. And of major import to me, they carry gluten free bread. I can't remember the last time I had safe toast to soak up my breakfast eggs. One tiny nit--ditch the runny ketchup.

Went with another couple--we've been there several times, their first time. When we arrived, there was a large crowd waiting for tables. Most of the people were with two large groups. At first we were told there would be a 20-30-minute wait. Since we were a relatively small group, we only had to wait about 10 minutes before a table was ready. They do not take reservations. The decor is very upscale, the noise level is loud. We first ordered bar drinks and onion rings for appetizer. The drinks were good; the onion rings were outstanding. The onion rings were large, not greasy at all, and the presentation on the platter was exquisite. Three of us ordered the chicken marsala and the fourth in our group ordered the shrimp po boy sandwich. Two of us also ordered the house salad with our chicken marsala. The food came out quickly. The salad portions were large. The only problem with the food was with the asparagus that accompanied the marsala. The asparagus was very small, spindly, and some of them were very tough. I think asparagus is out of season at this time, and they need to change their menu accordingly. All in all, the service was excellent. The only drawback was one of the salads had the wrong dressing, and they quickly remedied the problem. Overall, it was a very pleasant evening, and I'm sure we will return.

The pizza is okay for athletic teams after games but it is not a pizza I would buy for just myself or my family - prefer Zios, Davlos, Virtuoso, La Casa. The party room is nice for the kids to hang out in due to the space. The food again is average at best. Service is hit or miss.

Party of five with reservations, seated upon arrival. Clean, inviting environment. Comfortable not stuffy. Extensive menu, not just steak. Our orders consisted of steak, crab legs and a pasta dish. Heard no complaints and my steak was like butter. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, friendly and informative. We were satisfied with our entire evening.

The servers were great. The drinks were horrible. The wine selection is very bad. I didnât have any beer. Rueben Pizza was off the hook. Nice atmosphere. Business friendly.

Featuring a contemporary setting with a menu that includes a mix of seasonal, dietary, low fat, vegetarian and the usual favorites, The La Vista Nines offers the perfect casual dining option for lunch or dinner.
We ended up ordering some huge hamburgers and tossing the buns making reasonably priced hamburger steaks with a side of sweet potato fires for $13 each. Otherwise, youâre probably looking at over $22 a person, and we were not looking to spend that much after a long day on the road. The 1/2 pound burgers were good and cooked as ordered.

Great place to meet, drink a beer and maybe play the golf simulator. Food is very good, but, kitchen is very small (a kiosk) and very slow. The french dip and chips are good but small. Portobello soup is good.

I went to the restaurant on the second day of the reopening following the fire, smoke and water damage. A great steakhouse in Omaha, this restaurant looks much the same as it did before the fire. The restaurant was crowded so I ate at the bar and could tell the bartender was overwhelmed with the new register and a large number of customers trying to eat at the bar. The food itself was OK but not as good as it was before the fire. The ribeye was pretty tough. Iâm sure they will work things out and it will return to its previous greatness.

We have eaten here 3 or 4 times now when in the area. I often wonder if more people know about this hidden gem bc itâs not a known âchainâ. Our meals are always great and service is excellent. They have baked goods that look delicious, and the food is like home cooked and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Every course we ordered was delicious and served exactly as requested. And it's obvious the service staff is trained well - friendly, knowledgeable and accessible but not hovering or pretentious. Their wine suggestions were spot-on and we were visited by our servers periodically but were never rushed. Our favorite meal during our recent stay in Omaha. We look forward to returning when we travel to the city in the future.
