Los Corazones Restaurant is a family run establishment located just off the plaza across from the Catholic church in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico. Owner/Chef Antonio's menu is formed from years of culinary experience at the finest restaurants in Puerto Valla
We were really hoping to be impressed by this place given the reviews we had read. Unfortunately, we were super disappointed. Although the flavors were very good (as was the service), both dishes we ordered were clearly reheated rather than freshly prepared. The coconut shrimp was tasty, but the mango dipping sauce had been sitting so long that a film had formed on the top - not at all appetizing. We also ordered the calamari, which had been very definitely been re-fried from an earlier preparation. AND - they presented a very nice alternative to chips and salsa with what I believe was a sweet potato chip - that several of which were soggy. All together, very disappointing for a place that we were very excited to try.

We witnessed 3 spectacular sunsets from chairs and tables at Las Palmas. There is another beach bar steps away, but we saw no reason to mix things up. We arrived at about 4:30 each afternoon and left shortly after sunset. We had two different servers, Maria twice and Jorge once. They were both great - friendly and efficient. Because we wanted to sample restaurants for dinner, we only had snacks with our beverages -fresh guacamole, made to order with no onions. Las Palmas is located at the town's main beach access. There are vendors set up nearby in the little plaza. Generally, I would describe the vibe as tranquil. We really enjoyed our beautiful evenings at Las Palmas.

Tierra Viva Restaurant and Terraza Bar provides a creative cuisine using fresh local ingredients. Breakfast option range from Chiliquiles to Eggs Benedict. Lunch and Dinners options specialize in Fish, Shrimp and Calamari dishes. All of our plates are mad
We caught a red snapper while out fishing earlier in the day and we asked what place would cook it up for us and the caption pointed us to Tierra Viva! We dropped the fish off and was told to come back about an hour and a half for dinner. The restaurant is all open on the corner so we had great people watching. We were greeted by Victor and he was AMAZING! They brought us ceviche to start that had the red snapper, fresh tomatoes, cucumber, cilantro and lime juice and it was amazing. Then our dinner of red snapper was served two ways, butter and garlic and then also coated in sesame seeds and served with two sauces to bring out the flavor and also fresh steamed vegetables and rice. The food was outstanding along with the service. We will certainly come back next time in town!

Wiggle those Altos into that warm sandy beach--and watch those waves rolling induring your lunch/brunch! Environmental impact-----optimum! Service was slow finding Us, and slow with Our beverages----but the outcome wasrewarding. Strawberry margarita was the hit! No Pacifico beers!!Clam Chowder was simply--Fantastic!Quesadillas very tasty.Nachos, with refried beans--heavenly.Papas were cold. All food took a long time for arrival as wellIn fairness---beach frontage was very busy----more servers pleasetYes----kitty was there!
Marine cuisine with the best local produce of the bay.
I've been three times in ten days to "Ikan". I will try everything, and then, keep going back for my favorites. Currently, the tostada of scallop ceviche is tops. Though, everything I've had has been delightful: creative and interesting in it's presentation and fresh, balanced and exciting to the mouth. Please, order as chef Mario intends his creations to be, honor the vision of the chef. Do not skip the pancita or anything else unless your health restricts. (They're a new restaurant and need a little help with their English translation.) I love this place, the easy outdoor atmosphere and gentle vibe of the staff. "Ikan" is it! Delish. Wonderful hours for late afternoon eats, 12-6, everyday, except Tuesday (for now, 5/5/19).

We had an incredibly delicious meal starting with avocado bruschetta & a seafood cake appetizer. Then for our main course: pasta with cream and tomato sauce, grilled shrimp with vegetable risotto! The ambience was incredibly festive with a live band Caravane that wasn't too loud and sang traditional Mexican songs. My visiting table kitty was the sweetest, but not loyal unless I shared my seafood. A must in San Pancho!

Itâs been a year since we were here and it was as good maybe better than last time. I gave them 5* because they are the best in town along with Barracuda. I had the grilled shrimp which were perfect and mt husband had the molcajete which he also enjoyed. The tamarind margarita was so good I want to try and make it at home. Service was efficient.Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. We really appreciate you coming in again. We are only as good as our repeat clients. Thank you!
