We took a road trip and stayed here for a night. Gloria was absolutely wonderful. The bungalows were clean, spacious and the office will give you an electric cooktop and some pots and pans if you want. Parking is on site right below the bungalows. We also liked the fort and church in San Blas. You can see the whole city from the fort and the remains of the church was magically beautiful in the morning when the sun hits the large openings which were the church windows I imagine. Make sure you bring some bug spray when you go.

Feb.22,2014 took a chance and booked for 1 month.6000 pesos deposit required. Room had no running hot water in bathroom, air conditioner not working, mouse droppings on kitchen counter. I was in room for 5 minutes and they were not going to give me money back until I threatened to contact Mexican government and still kept 2000 pesos. After asked me not to give negative review. We warned!!!!!

To be honest, I'm reluctant to "spread the news" and spoil this oasis in Bucerias... a small, 5 unit property (we stayed in Casita Brisas), very close to the beach, restaurants and other attractions. The casitas are fully equipped and the kitchen had everything we needed (including sharp knives) for when we decided to eat in. Hosts Lisa and Jair are outstanding, make you feel at home as soon as you arrive and, if you stay long enough, you learn reasons to stay with locals rather than at one of the white tower condos where the majority of people you encounter are tourists. Bella, the cute watchdog, rarely barks, patrols the garden and pool area for trespassing critters (usually iguanas) and provides a humorous antigen for boredom. We learned about the different drive-by vendors, bought fresh fruit from one who came by daily, went to the weekly local market, learned where to buy fresh seafood and spices, took a bike tour and two cooking classes. Thank you Lisa, Jair and Bella! We enjoyed ourselves so much and there's much more to discover... we can't wait to return!

We were in a new suite. For 4...but beds are a little small for us burley types. Staff/owners were very helpful. Minimal English but enough for everyone to be happy. We stayed for a month and would go back tomorrow. Hotel is a quick walk everywhere. 2 blocks west to the beach, 2 blocks south to the square and local shops and restaurants, a ten minute hike NE over the hill to Guayabitos - if you need larger fancier or "chain" style restaurants. Room could use more air circulation....but your in Mexico. It's hot! A quick dip in the pool will cool you down before bed.
