The food is ok at best and way overpriced. That’s not the bad part.’it’s the rude wait staff and hostess staff. Just nasty from the get go and pushing us out of the door as quick as they can and it wasn’t even crowded. Murray’s is much better and better service!

Pica's pizza is unique and fantastic! Not especially thin and not brick oven, Pica's has a conveyor belt type oven that cranks out delicious pizza. The full menu offers many, many other options including many Italian specific dinners. There are specials on weekdays. We are BIG FANS of Pica's!

This place has calmed down slightly (only slightly) from the early days when long lines forced you to maneuver the mounds of Main-Liners. I confess that waiting in a yuppified, gentrified, line to eat in a place that has no liquor license, is not my cup of green tea.
Still, the food remains terrific. A little spicy for me and a little curried, but a cut above the usual Chinese and Asian fare out here. This is not to belittle the Asian cuisine out in the Wynnewood, Bryn Mawr, Ardmore, Haverford , Havertown area which is top-notch in many places.
The decor is...well...Chinese...clean...nothing special and not likely to win any interior design awards.
We took home a variety. Great dim sum dumplings, spareribs falling off the bone and wonderfully flavored, pork lo mein, rice etc. And they do have a way with vegetables. Pea pods, carrots, green beans... you name it.
Again, not very top of my list, but close to the top for my wife, Barbara...and that definitely counts for a lot.

Hidden gem in Narberth with excellent food, service and pricing. Not a disappointing dish. Seafood, fish, grilled and stewed meats all excellent. BYOB. Good variety of regular menu items plus several specials. Pleasant setting. On street parking can be scarce but always find something close by. Unrushed and well served meals. Very popular with locals.

My wife and another couple had dinner here this past weekend. Found it online while searching for something near the area we were visiting. Food was very good. Prices were a bit high for Italian food but the service was excellent. Great specials. Staff was very attentive. I would go back.

Not your average menu here, first of all a brick oven with grilled food and pizza coming out if the wood burning fire oven. Smokey flavors , with great ingredients make the food outstanding. Nice cocktail menu with really intelligent bar staff, and a good selection og beer

White Dog Cafe is committed to serving the finest organic ingredients from local farms promoting sustainable, healthy dining and a strong community. Our contemporary American cuisine is prepared from our heart, blending seasonal ingredients and bold flavors with a refined presentation. Our three locations in Wayne, Haverford and University City provide unique and comfortable dining rooms paying tribute to everyone's beloved best friend. Open for Lunch, Brunch and Dinner with Happy Hour specials.
What started as an edgy spot in West Philadelphia has become an "Oh so fancy" typical main line "fashion statement". Food OK but overpriced, reservation was "missing", creating long wait. Servers indifferent.. Mostly two Glasses of overpriced wine and salad clientele. But regular "Well Dressed" crowd seems happy and at home there.

The newest edition to the ever changing landscape of eating venues on West Lancaster Avenue is Saffron Indian Kitchen across from Spread Eagle Village. It is the third in the Saffron franchise after Saffron Bala Cynwyd and Saffron Ambler.
We stopped by for lunch, eating from a menu of classical Indian dishes. Our Chicken Korma, Lamb Jalferazee, and VegetableTikka Masala were very tasty and well seasoned. We sat at comfortably spaced tables with cotton tablecloths and napkins. The staff were courteous, attentive and remained so when one at our table was inordinately delayed by traffic.
There is ample parking available, and when we saw a large Indian family, with children and good appetites, enjoy themselves at a table nearby we took this as an endorsement of Saffron’s kitchen.
Saffron is open for lunch and dinner (BYOB;) take-out is also available.
Enjoy!

Narberth has finally got a restaurant that is authentic Thai. CoCo Thai is elegant ,well appointed though small and has the most delicious cuisine. I have lived in Thailand and can assure you that this restaurant has it down perfect. The menu is extensive, well presented..... as for the taste.... oh oh oh.... fantastic. It's one of the very few Thai restaurants outside Thailand that actually uses broad noodles for Pad Thai. All the delicate and myriad subtle flavours are their and I could eat in CoCo thai every day! They have great service and a small pavement area but you really need to book ahead.
