Kongoni Camp is situated less than 2 km North from Nanyuki Town off the Meru road. Set against the dramatic slopes of Mount Kenya, and nestled in indigenous forest with olive, cedar and relics of other tree species, Kongoni Camp has a peaceful energy abou
I greatly enjoyed my stay. Rooms are nice, staff is really amazing and so very friendly, thereâs a spa (with a great masseuse) and pool, and the restaurant serves delicious food. Itâs a nice break from the city. Only improvements Iâd recommend are improved WiFi signal so it covers all the grounds, as well as unifying all WiFi channels into one, and increase the speed. Business travelers just need to be online 24/7 and canât afford interruptions.

Named in memory of Ol Pejetaâs most famous rhino ambassador, Moraniâs was named one of the top 20 amazing places to eat in Kenyaâ! Itâs not hard to see why. Conveniently located at the Information Centre, weâre the perfect halfway stop during an adventure
We stopped for a mid-afternoon coffee, and found that the place had been very popular at lunchtime because very few of the tables had been cleared even though they were empty!Service was well-intentioned but slow. We had a beer, ginger tea and water, plus a mince pie (well it was just after Christmas) and some billionaire's shortbread that was tasty but could have provided plenty of extra income for the dental profession! (Lovely toffee layer, but oh so hard!) Alsacienne - we are sorry that you experienced slow service and we shall address this and appreciate your comments. I apologise for the delay in reply but we had seen your comment when posted. Please come back and see us again!

This guest house is a lovely lovely gem tucked away on the Narumoru - Nanyuki Road - Same Entrance as Anka Resort. The staff are very friendly, the guest house is very clean and well taken care off. The grounds are so so beautiful! and the view of Mt. Kenya on a clear morning is excellent! Nyokabi and the other gentleman whose name i forget made the place feel like home. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good break and a lovely lovely place. I will definitely go back.
I have been hear several times, first in 2015, and many times in 2017-2018. The entrance way as well as the sign are pretty unassuming, but go on in and you'll be pleasantly surprised by an outdoor seating garden, with umbrellas. There is a covered seating area too, if the weather is unpleasant. Power outlets are conveniently interspersed throughout the seating areas, and the wi-fi is strong with a frequently changing password for guest protection. The food service is fairly rapid, especially compared to other dining areas in the area. Staff are pleasant, but not overly engaging. The clientele consists of a lot of Kenyans and the occasional wazungu (foreigner). There are two menus, and if you're a mzungu you will be presented with an eclectic menu of Indian, Chinese, American, and Cafe foods. There is a more traditional (and cheaper) Kenyan menu, which has quite a few offerings. The prices for both menus are not exorbitantly high, and seem relatively fair for what you get. I think this is the best place to spend a few hours working, or even having a semi-casual business meeting. Highly recommend. The only negative I have experienced is the ugali was not as finely milled as I like. Ndengu and Njahi are great; egg fried rice, chapati, and Palak Paneer were good; Githeri and the veggie burger are decent; fresh juice is very tasty; coffee is variable from average to good. Quite a few vegetarian options.
Jib's provides a warmth, modern-rustic ambiance where one can find peace with having coffee and reading a book or catching up with friends over cocktails. Our 2-storey restaurant and bar emphasize the experience of homely dining with selection of authenti
