Holberry House was built as a classic English Manor. The seven elegantly appointed queen size guest rooms are all upstairs, each with it's own bathroom. One room has a double corner spa. The rooms are individually furnished with antiques and have air-conditioning, heating and ensuite rooms have televisions. Downstairs is a large guest lounge with open log fire, conservatory, library and dining room. There is a pool for summer relaxation. The gardens at Holberry House are an escape in themselves. Set on four acres of parkland gardens with a winter brook and mature tree plantings there are many tranquil spots to sit quietly with a book or to watch the well fed ducks, wrens, moorhens and honeyeaters. The garden is open daily for visitors to enjoy. Louise and Chris Stokes have a joint 58 year history in hospitality and tourism, including restaurants, hotel management in Australia and Europe and event management and look forward to welcoming you to the South West region of WA.
Picturesque gardens and my room was nice on the second floor. I just stayed one night, hosts were very welcoming and the provided breakfast was good. It is a nice location on the hill and an easy walk through the gardens into town right near the nannup brewery and main town centre, would recommend and stay again.

At the Black Cockatoo Nannup we have five budget priced (but atmosphere filled) accommodation units ranging from $65/n to $105/n for two. Our Wattle Studio and Tiger Room Suite are fully self-contained with bedroom, bathroom and kitchen - and the others are self-contained except for bathroom facilities. It has a double bed plus a single bed and is $105 double/shared twin per night or $115 for 3. The Tiger Room Suite - a three-room apartment with kitchen/lounge, bedroom and own bathroom. Pleasant quiet stay of 4 nights. Obliging hosts & was given upgrade to preferred ensuite-type unit during stay. Facilities basic but spacious and good value - fully self-contained & well-arranged & spotless. Extremely comfortable beds! Curiously, the mozzies though plentiful didn't seem as aggressive as in Perth! Thankyou Sue & Derek for an enjoyable stay.

Very disappointed to write this review but the host has not been in contact despite repeated requests via email and phone to reschedule a 3night stay due to a COVID lockdown. I'm happy to respect the cancellation policy but was offered a chance to reschedule and yet after 3months of chasing, this has not been honoured. I'm angry that I now have lost my money. Please be cautious when booking.

Beyonderup Falls Adult Country Escape is situated on the banks of the Blackwood River between Nannup and Balingup just 3 hrs from Perth. It consists of four very private & secluded, luxury, self contained chalets. All have fully equipped kitchens, TV/DVD/IPod docks and upstairs, a very comfortable queen size bed. On the balcony you can relax in your own private heated spa overlooking the River.
We stayed 5 nights from 28th dec till the 1st Jan. Not sure on what to expect we were pleasantly surprised. 2 floors , not suitable for wheelchairs or if you cant climb stairs. The bed was super comfortable and with fan blowing the other noise was the bird life, we can definitely live with that. Has all the cooking facilities and t.v there but we never did. The spa and a drink was all we needed. No internet or wifi. But hay we survived. Lol.. would not hesitate to go back. Check out Doin a Digby on YouTube for a video review.

We would most definitely recommend this place, relaxing, calm and close to nature. Friendly owners, pleasant stay. Also was allowed to pat and feed animals and take nature walks. Open air, loft was perfect, all facilities and amenities provided. Would stay again ? *Submitted on behalf of parents.

My two daughters and I have just had 2 fabulous nights in Duffy's Cottage. From the moment we walked in the charm had us. Everything was perfect. It wasn't long before we had the fire going and dinner cooking. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the comfort, peace and beauty of the location. The cottage is well equipped and appointed. We enjoyed walks around the garden, observing the wild life and the spa! The hosts, Judith and Dirk, are very friendly and willing to help when needed. (We had to ask for sugar for our dessert recipe!) We would love to return in future.

The other reviews of this accommodation are woefully unfair. Yes perhaps the listing should provide more details and photographs but the bird hide is a secluded, beautiful location to spend a night. If you’re precious about drop toilets or five star luxury then find somewhere else to stay but if love privacy, connection with nature and simple comforts then this is a great place to stay. Beautiful view, the whole bedroom opens up to the bush and if the composting loo is a bit ripe (like it was on the 35 degree we stayed) leave that side door closed. The bed is wonderfully comfortable and the stars were breathtaking.
