Reviewed By fishert2022Location is great, easy and diversified food selection and shopping in the department store downstairs. Good staff and clean room in hotel. Gym is still ok to use during the covid period, but need to make reservation in advance.

The rooms, whilst not overly large, are very well designed with decent lighting, lots of power points, quality bathroom fittings etc. Hotel staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was a good selection of east and west, a shopping centre almost next door was a bonus too. Will definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By Joe_KTMSituated very close to a metro, the hotel is simple and convenient for a night stay. The room is small but ok. I give it best value. Clean, great staff, and efficient. Breakfast has many choices, cook fresh, great taste.

Quirky and convenient
Reviewed By Sam_and_GranI had a night to spend in Taipei before leaving for Kaohsiung, and this seemed cheap and cheerful. It's close to Taipei railway station which counted in its favour. The accommodation was clean and the staff quirky and interesting. Breakfast was "simple" - their terminology - toast and spreads with a bit of fruit and tea. Not the Taiwanese breakfast I had been lead to believe in, but sufficient to fill a hole. A word about terminology ... this is, I think, a hostel. Not even a hand basin in the room. If you are prepared to share with strangers, the dormitory option seemed more spacious than the one-up, one-down closet I had.

Terrible stay
Reviewed By Cheryl GWas looking at the pix and chose this hotel but when we arrived there, we were shocked! From the moment the taxi made a turn into the district, we all felt pretty uncomfortable, it's quite a run down area of Taipei which we have never seen in the entire trip. Drainage seems to be a problem right at the entrance of the hotel, the street stinks. The hotel oozes fake opulence, we were ok even if the paintings decorating the hotel were not authentic, but the entire place is tiresomely old. Peeling paint can be seen everywhere, from lobby to rooms. Hotel toilet is super small and floor was extremely slippery. The entire place reeks of mould. What was worse was that, although the breakfast was supposed to end at 9:30 am and we arrived at the cafe/restaurant at 9 am, the staff were eating at a corner and the entire place was like a ghost-town! The food was freezing cold, none of the warmers were lighted or switched on and when we gave feedback, the staff pretended to be surprised that the food was not kept warm and after 15 minutes did they start to light up all the warmers. By then we were so fed-up we left and packed up our luggage and checked out. At the checkout counter, I gave the feedback and they gave some lousy excuse and when I asked for some form of compensation, they claim that they can't do anything since we had booked through Expedia. Since the rest of our stay in Taiwan through Expedia's booking was pretty fantastic, I decided I will not complain to Expedia but give a direct review of this most horrible hotel here.

Reviewed By Tsangwy本人第一次入住這個酒店，感覺很不安，開頭以為是一所比較舊小小的酒店，原來是一間改裝過的汽車酒店，不要被那網站上的相片欺騙以為是那麼的浪漫，入到房內滿滿的香煙味，很令人嘔心那些傢俬顏色擺設陳舊的，很不舒服，還要人六點才能check-in很是奇怪，床頭那個避孕套真的令人很不安感覺。如果不是突然逗留在台灣多一天，在沒有房間的情況下才亂糟糟的租了這一間酒店，真的是這個旅程嘅污點，心想很想盡快離開還好我只是在這裏逗留一晚感謝。

Reviewed By whcheah99Excellent location to stay outside of Central Taipei - away from the noisy hustle and bustle crowd. Large room with large bed and large bath tub. Nice view of the forest behind it. Wide variety of food establishments at the nearby within walking distance Nangang Station Global Mall. Also nearby - the Nangang Exhibition Centre, Carrefour Hypermarket and international fast food franchised restaurants like Mcdonald, KFC etc. One should try the street food - literally from roadside cafes where local people eat. Delicious and cheap.

Reviewed By Alex3004Pluses: - perfect location - just cross the street from Songshan station, Songshan MRT green line, not far from Nangang Exhibition center and Nangang high speed train station. 5 minutes walk from Raohe night market. Many shops and restaurants around. ANd biggest clothes market in Taipei; - Super good service - very friendly and welcoming team. VEry professional and kind. Always supportive; - incredible view from rooms - can see Taipei 101, Yangmingshan mountains and surrounded areas. Very high rise hotel; - have very nice gym and laundry 24/7; - rooms are cosy and comfy, modern. Price is reasonable for Taipei. Minuses: would improve a little breakfast. But in general no complaints. Very good option for Taipei. For solo, friends, families or couples. FOr any occasion. Even staycation . Highly recommend.

Reviewed By DhanestBest option around if you have any meeting / appointment around Nangang Exhibition Center. A lot of dining options within the area makes this place a best choice overall. You can walk to MRT in around 5-10 minutes only.
