Baan Na Khon in Nakhon Si Thammarat is a lovely place to stay for a couple of days to explore the city. Rooms are spacious and very clean, staff is very friendly (although they do not speak English), and there are a lot of trees and plants inside the hotel premises. Not really much choice with breakfast, but the (southern) Thai food they have, is great. Opposite the hotel you can find a roti restaurant (Rotee Kobang) with delicious roti, recommended!

I stayed with my wife and my son last weekend. High quality of the hotel but good price. Staffs (Receptionist, Restaurant Waitress and Room maid) are very pleasant and friendly, even the owner of the hotel very warmest welcome and greet three of us too you cannot see like this in the same hotel level. The hotel located a bit far from center of the city but good location to go Kiriwong Koh Smui and Surrathni afterward, nice garden but too many mosquito. The room very clean and facilities in the room are good conditions, that is what we need!

We arrived tired from Chiang Mai where 4.5 -5 stars is excellent. This place has to be honest has clearly seen better years. The superior room we got allocated after asking for a quiet room was well past its used by date: beds hard and single ! the bathroom was dirty and the towels very tired. The front desk staff whilst helpful didn’t explain much to us so we had to figure it out for ourselves. Yep you guessed it in the tired guest book. It seems 4.5 star doesn’t cut much here nor does it include tea or coffee in their superior room. I don’t recommend here they have a captive audience and less than satisfactory hotel.

The Old Times Nakhon ("Baan Pak Nithan" in Thai) is the homestay of seven rooms, seven styles and decorations. They are derived from seven story-tales from Aesop’s, Brothers Grimm’s, old fairy tales and so on. It is situated in the middle of the old town of Nakhon Si Thammarat, where is enriched by Buddhism heritage and mixed cultures of various religions, generations and lifestyles.
It is a lovely little home stay at a perfect location. The owner is super nice, an architect who created this creative boutique house. There are six rooms available so you might be quick in booking if you want to stay there.

i've booked this hotel for the business stay only 1night. This place will make you feel like staying at friend's place. The place is clean but some room has a stinky smell. First room of mine on the second floor has a bad smell. I can feel that if i stay overnight here i will be so unacceptable for it then i decided to changed the room to the third floor. The last one, room B1,quite cleaner and has cute decoration which sea lover much like it. But i dont think this place is nice for the elder one. It prefer for backpacker who wants cheap hotel near the market, easy to find smth eat. Just a place to sleep and go. Another thing is that, at first you will smile when seeing the sweet bed sheet, pink, cute one. But your smile will disappear in a minute if you lay down on the bed because the bed seem to be very very old one, not so comfort and make the back pain due to the spring of bed which comes up and lots of hole space inside. Noted that this place has only 3 cars parking located next door building. And dont expect for wifi it doesnt work.
