Nakhon Sawan (Thai: นครสวรรค์, pronounced [ná(ʔ).kʰɔ̄ːn sā.wǎn]) is a city (thesaban nakhon) in Thailand, the name literally means "Heavenly City". The city is the capital of Nakhon Sawan Province, and covers the complete subdistrict (tambon) Pak Nam Pho and parts of Khwae Yai, Nakhon Sawan Tok, Nakhon Sawan Ok and Wat Sai, all of Mueang Nakhon Sawan district. As of 2006 it has a population of 93,141. Nakhon Sawan is 238 km north of Bangkok.

A unique experience and it was good! Itâs not often I see people come up with something Iâve never seen before but this nice little place excelled. The décor is an eye catcher with the counter consisting of rocks constrained by wire mesh, the shelving is a continuous loop of copper piping with pressure gauges here and there, the onion rings served in a cast iron pan, and the French fries in a sieve please see pics which Iâve submitted. I had a simple beef burger with cheddar cheese which was delicious and the fresh salad inside was crunchy to the bite, unfortunately the cheese was a slice of processed cheese but at 130 Baht Iâm not complaining. The French fries were as they are but the onion rings which were in a breaded batter were yum yum. 20 Baht for a soft drink was well priced and served in a jam pot with a handle, again a piece of originality. Very clean with good service although their English was rather limited but that is easy over come. Recommended!
