It was disappointing that there was some hair found in the bathroom and in the bed. I stayed at the time of pandemic so for the whole time I was anxious. Unlike other Japanese hotels, they checked me in an hour early when I arrived at the hotel for free which was nice. I had to have my head wonder if the cleaner persons are tired or not happy with the work and stuff which was unexpectedly disturbing. I like that the front stuff greet the guests every time they pass by.

A clean and modern hotel with a large public bath on the top (14th) floor. The rooms are cleverly designed to incorporate all the facilities/amenities you need…including a safe, fridge, luggage rack etc. I would be nice to have more than 1 bath &1 hand towel per person in the room…as you have to take these with you to use the public bath…and there is nowhere really to dry these after use (the only rail is the bath mat rail on the shower/bathroom door…or by using some hangers if you have any free. Also there is a coffee machine in the lobby…but there s a ¥100 charge to use this….where the tea and coffee satchets in the room are free.

We have a hot spring. The nearest station is "subway Fushimi Station" Exit 2. The near station is "subway Sakae Station" Exit 8 next. There are an elevator and an escalator at "Sakae Station". However, there are no them at "Fushimi Station". It is a 20-minute walk from a hotel to Nagoya Station. The nearest bus stop of the buses from Central Japan International Airport to a hotel "is NISHIKI DORI HONMATSI].
When you arrive a hotel, initial impression matters to guest. Hotel reception staff were mostly very very very unfriendly. Furthermore, we booked a room for 2 people, and we had a local Japanese friend visiting to bring us out for dinner (not staying with us). Even in afternoon or evening, they could not even come up to our room for ONE minute! Must sit alone in the lobby. And we were told very rudely, no cooperation at all. The night Japanese staff was actually more friendly. Aside from this, rooms are small (but is manageable). Best part would be the spa, onsen hot spring. That's relaxing, small but quite nice open till late. Within 5 mins from local train stations. Hotel GM - please upgrade your service, it will help guests recommend others and improve your business.

The hotel is located in Fushimi, which between Meieki and Sakae area on the Higashiyama subway line, 7 minutes’ walk from Fushimi Station. The area around Fushimi Station is one of the city’s most famous business, shopping, art museum and entertainment districts, and expectations are especially high for the new commercial development of the banks of the Hori River area in front of the hotel. The rooms are designed in sizes ranging from 22.1–32.9m², featuring simple and modern furniture combined with the latest digital environment to assure your convenience during your stay. The hotel also offers all-day dining varied to suit the needs of both staying guests and visitors.
Well, it wasn’t that cheap, but for budget travellers like me and my husband, staying at Hotel JAL City was a relaxing way to end our trip. We specifically chose a hotel after days of staying at guesthouses and airbnbs as we travelled from Tokyo to Hakuba to Magome and finally Nagoya. We only spent a night here, and we wished it was more! From the train station, it was a 10-15-minute walk to the hotel. We were tired but Nagoya at night was beautiful, so it was fine. It was a bit far from the restaurants, although there was a nearby tax-free grocery store that we took advantage of before we left. The size of the room was decent for a couple, the double bed was big enough and comfortable, and the linens were fresh-smelling and very clean. The closet was spacious enough for all our stuff. The room was basic, and the desk and chair could only be used by one person at a time (we had to bring work, ugh). The bathroom, I loved! It had two areas: the toilet with the sink and mirror and the shower area, which included a separate bathtub. Usually the shower head is over the bathtub, but not here. I was able to use the bath soak I got from Muji earlier that day. Complementary stuff like coffee drip, tea, and shampoo were provided in the lobby for guests to grab. They even had this cool gel pad for your tired feet. On the morning of our last day, the front desk allowed us to leave our bags with them so we could go around Nagoya. Our flight was in the evening. They were also helpful when asked for directions. They tried hard to give me the exact directions despite the lack of English. This I really appreciated. Overall, our stay had been great.

the b Nagoya is ideally located in the downtown area of Sakae facing the leafy Hisaya Street. It is situated in the centre of the business, sightseeing and shopping precincts and is just a few minutes from two major subway stations, Sakae and Yabacho making the hotel ideal for the business or leisure traveler. The 'Lawson' which is located on the first floor of the building is open 24 hours and will make your stay more convenient.
Needed somewhere to self isolate before going home. A great deal for this hotel in Nagoya. Reception staff spoke great English and were all so helpful! My room was cleaned well every day and the location in Sakae across from Matsuzakaya is excellent...with a Lawson’s convenience store on the ground floor. The bathroom is a little bit on the small side...but the bed is big and comfortable. The free wifi worked very well and the window can be opened if you ask the reception staff. All in all a great choice in Nagoya....would definitely stay again at this price!

I've stayed in several hotels in Nagoya and unfortunately this was the worst and although the cheapest, the comfort and quality reflected this! Smallest room I've had and view from window was a tower block a metre away! I made a simple request by e-mail weeks before arriving, which wasn't responded to until I wrote several times in Japanese and Kanji! I found the hotel basic and bland, as was the breakfast! After staying several days it was apparent that this hotel catered predominantly for Japanese workers and visitors. I shan't be staying again and would recommend paying a little more from the choice of ample hotels in Nagoya! The location leaves a lot to be desired, due to loud music from establishment next door (I could hear it near top floor!) until early hours of Saturday and kept awake by continual coughing from next room. The area is frequented by 'ladies of the night', being propositioned 4 times in 20 minutes in near vicinity of hotel!! Thankfully the sister hotel in Kanayama was an improvement overall!

Hilton is a great place to stay in central Nagoya. The rooms are as comfortable and clean as you would expect from a Hilton. The staff are all super friendly. It feels really good to stay here. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The line moves a bit slow but once you sit down it is a wonderful and relaxing breakfast. Too bad there is not onsen bath/sauna in the hotel. There is a gym, a pool and tennis court.

This is a brand new hotel, and staff are professional! everything is new and room is BIG. There are several restaurants, drug stores and convenience stores nearby. This hotel provides parking, but it costs about 1500 or 1800 Yen. This hotel is a bit far from the major tourist attractions.

This is a very good location being just a few minutes walk from subway, train station and ideal if your catching a flight from the airport. I found this Meitetsu a distinct improvement on it's sister hotel at Nishiki in the centre of Nagoya. The hotel is modern, bright and the staff very helpful. Very busy early at breakfast with all the workers grabbing a meal before work.
