I have no words to describe how happy I was. I visited the place for six days the staff was great and wow wow wow. Good job for the chef Mr Munialo ❤❤❤❤your food I would dream of everyday excellent. Miriam the waiter was fantastic always served with a smile. The rooms great though I wish it was one per family sharing with a stranger is hard though I didn't have a neighbour because of the season. Cliff has the best view. Gloria did a good job in anything we needed. Boat ride was good. Very quiet place to unwind from the busy Nairobi. I would recommend the hotel and go back there anytime

Perched on the hills close to Lake Naivasha, Dove Nest lodge is an ideal getaway location for travelers seeking mid range ambient accommodation. With good service and clean facilities you would be hard pushed to find a better priced option in Naivasha area. Dove Nest is with great simple accommodation and home-cooked food in the restaurant. Lakeside activities can be arranged upon request. We offer state of the art conference facilities and team building grounds that can be used for social functions as well.
Dovenest Lodge and Peppercorn "resort" ( a sister company) is not even within Naivasha let alone near Lake Naivasha. Its a good 8 to 10 Kilometer away from Lake Naivasha without ANY green and open spaces. Food options are very very limited to traditional african dishes and the lodge being 4 km off the main road and another 4 or 5 km from Naivahsa, we had to put up with whatever was available. We were excitedly waiting for the bonfire that night but it was a huge let down as it was next to the the pool area and there was hardly space enough for 10 guests at a time. Then the Music started! we had to leave as soon as they turned up the volume. A huge Speaker at the pool area started to blare out loud music which could be heard till our rooms upstairs a good 300 mtrs away! thank god we weren't given the cottages which were NEXT to the pool area because the blaring speakers lasted well into the night till almost 1 am!! The following day, at 6 am, a nearby church started their preaching on loud speakers! So if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet and tranquil place for a night, Dovenest is definitely not the place to choose. The rates too were quite expensive considering there was absolutely NOTHING to enjoy within their compound!!! Pool water was freezing cold and absolutely nowhere to lounge as there are neither open nor any green spaces anywhere. is just a 1 or 2 acre property crammed with wooden maisonettes, some cottages, a dining hall, a bar at the poolside and a conference room above the bar. Waste of time and total waste of money!!!

Astorian Grand Hotel Naivasha is a modern style hotel Located conveniently 3 kilometers away from Naivasha town. The prestigious hotel surrounds the guest in a peaceful, warm, relaxed and serene environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city while still providing convenient access to the Buffalo Mall and its various social amenities.
We arrived for lunch which was a really nice buffet. The food in the evening was good too, but took a bit long to arrive. We did not have hot water in the shower. The beds were really comfy. We had asked to have breakfast at 6am, but no one was there as the receptionist has forgotten to tell the kitchen… we got some coffee and tea anyway.

Located within the private 18,000 acre Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary and hidden in an indigenous forest you will find Chui Lodge, Naivasha's best kept secret. There are 8 ensuite individual and well-spaced luxury cottages all located in the garden. Each with its own veranda and magical views of the Mau Mountain Range and the sanctuary. The bedrooms have magnificent four poster king size beds, roaring log fires, artistically decorated artwork and hand crafted furniture made in our onsite workshop. The dining room, lounge and bar area feature pillars and mural with intricate African carvings. A short walk through the tropical gardens is the beautiful swimming pool, which boasts amazing views across the wildlife waterhole and the sanctuary beyond. Professionally trained chefs cater to your every need and use organic vegetable and dairy products from our very own farm. An experience in the wild you will not easily forget.
We stayed at Chui lodge for a night recently but, how we wished we stayed longer. Situated inside a private conservancy the lodge is truly an exclusive place. The cottage are huge with beautiful lathe beds and lovely views. They have a waterhole just in front of the dining space. There are many different types of colourful birds too. Food is delicious and the staff extremely helpful. We went on a evening plus night safari with James and saw loafs of animals including a Leopard with its kill, Hyenas, Jackals, Hippos etc The only issue was with the wifi, it was not that great, at least not in our cottage. Everything else was great ?

Don't know where to start or how to end this review. Everything, everyone and the resort itself is spectacular. If you're considering don't consider, just book it and you won't regret it. The rooms, the surrounding, the staff and the food was above and beyond amazing. A special shout out to David the Manager who went out of his way to make our stay memorable At every corner, there was a design detail or a service touch that delighted us and left us thinking. What a special place! Will definitely recommend.

We recently had the opportunity to visit the Cairo Pyramids Hotel and Restaurant. Our stay was fantastic and the service in the restaurant was outstanding. Our prime server was Ehsan. She did an outstanding job on a daily basis and was one of the most cheerful people we had the opportunity to meet in Cairo. She was so good that we only had to mention what we wanted one time and then every morning our request came to us without asking. We would go back to the restaurant again just to be served by Ehsan.
