We're a thoroughly new kind of hotel; so much so that we actually call ourselves a house, as we aim to be a Melting Pot for getting people together and because our way of doing things is perhaps just a little more personable and informal than some. And a touch off-beat: unusual cuisines; unexpected events; untypical meetings; unorthodox interiors; unconventional bedrooms; uncommon people. We have 83 bedrooms. 7 event and meeting spaces (some indoors and some out). 4 restaurants and bars. An outdoor pool. A back garden. A gym. And lots of surprises to keep things buzzing.
Amazing place, beautiful design. Very warm and welcoming ambiance. Super offering of services and great hospitality by Mathenge, Gidion, Ann, Francis, from the front desk. Strongly recommended for people who love organised and beautiful hotels.

Great service and super polite, welcoming, conscientious staff. Maseline came daily to clean my room, and although I didn’t need the cleaning I was able to get a fresh towel or more tea if I needed it. The hotel offers a late checkout until 8pm for a fee, which is great if you’ve got a later flight. The food and restaurants worked out perfectly. I was able to focus on laptop work without having to go search for restaurants. The room service was also quite prompt and convenient. Everything was clean and seemed well-maintained. I have no complaints and would certainly stay here again.

I stayed here before flying back to UK as had visited the Mara and flight too early to connect. Rooms are spacious with good amenities, great shower and comfy bed. Hotel has lovely pool and good gym with good range of weights….for me anyway. I had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent, super fresh and tasty. The chef wondered through the restaurant so had the opportunity to tell her how much I enjoyed her food. Well located hotel, only a few minutes from Wilson domestic and around 25 from international…..this was 6am on a Sunday so maybe leave more time during busier times. Highly recommend this hotel, great staff and service.

Experience Nairobi in our stunning hotel that charms with its African design, uplifting atmosphere, open spaces, cool features and panoramic views. Situated in the popular Westlands district, Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Nairobi is the perfect base to explore Kenya’s capital while staying for business or leisure in 276 spacious rooms, suites and residences.
My husband, two boys and I recently stayed at Movenpick at the beginning and end of our trip to Kenya. The hotel was picked by the group we schedule our tour with, Gate1Travel. We are so glad they chose this hotel! It was comfortable, clean, and safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We had several hours between when we checked out on the last day and when our ride picked us up for the airport. We were able to store our luggage safely at the hotel, walked to a nearby mall for a while and then spent the remaining time comfortably in the lobby. Movenpick was a great place to begin and end our trip!

I had, had clients stay at the hotel and loved it. But, personally I was yet to visit. Finally it happened last week hosted by Carol. Everything from communications, reception, inspecting the facility and buffet lunch went exceptionally well. The facility is tastefully done and food was too fingerlicking....wow. And despite being close to busy Mombasa road, it's completely noise proof. It is also very conveniently located especially for those in need of JKIA flights and SGR services. Thank you Carol and your team for the great hospitality. Keep up the good standards and we will continue supporting you.

The 215-room hotel comes from the makers of Tribe, a pioneering lifestyle property that set a new benchmark for design-driven, high-end hospitality in the city when it opened nearly a decade ago.
Hotel is located in shopping mall with lot’s of restaurants and shops around. Also close to parks. Very convenient. Good food and nice staff in hotel, that go above and beyond to help wherever they can.
