Had a wait for a train--and there's practically nothing in the little train station in Arita (where one goes to see ceramics of all qualities). So looking for a quick coffee, I went into this café that looks like a tourist info office--which it also is.In the back is a nice sized lunchroom with furnishings in wood (also with ceramics to sell), where you can get not only a snack or drink, but also a complete lunch--eggs on rice, bits of fried pork on rice, etc. with tea, and a fabulous pickled vegetable (tsukemono) at the end of the meal. I think soup came with it, too. A menu with pictures! Everything cooked there in the open. Some English spoken (though nothing complicated). And cheap.
