飯山市内のお菓子屋さんから生ケーキなどを仕入れているので、お持ち帰りもおすすめ。冬季の土日限定で、市内どこかの店舗のバナナボートも仕入れているそう。前は平日もやってた気がするけども…。バナナボートは各店ごとに微妙に違うので、食べ比べも楽しいです。

Found the food very good and inexpensive . Other restaurants were often booked out but we found this one to have seats. I don't think that the Japanese owners market to the western crowd . Spoke to other people who were eating there and they too had returned for the food.

戸狩温泉ではちょっと意外？(スミマセン。。)なお洒落なバーです。店内はアメリカンな雑貨が所狭しと飾られてて、それ好きの人間にはたまらない場所です。料理も美味しく、時間もこの辺りでは、かなり遅くまでやっていますので、ちょっと落ち着いた雰囲気を味わいたい方、ナイターやって小腹が減った方にはお勧めです。お昼も営業してるという事なので、次は昼時に娘と伺いたいと思います。ごちそう様でした♪

小菅神社参道、山麓に佇む風情ある茶処。明るい和風の建屋で野趣ある庭を愛でながらいただいた蕎麦、栗の渋皮煮はとても美味でした。約1.2kmを登る奥社を参詣する前にいただくもよし、参詣後に休憩がてらいただくもよし。

こちらは冬期は休業する季節限定の喫茶店です。注文から出来上がりまで２０分くらいかかるお店の看板メニューのスフレは、チーズや抹茶、メープル等のフレーバーがあります。美味しかったです。
