There's a large undercover area with varying size tables and bench Seating. In addition there a sizeable open area all overlooking the ocean and the fishing boat wharf.
Service is very friendly and helpful but almost exclusively Thai speaking. The menu is comprehensive, the seafood choice is large and the fish fresh.
A firm favourite with Thai families, good size portions at reasonable prices. This is not haute cusine dining but good wholesome food in a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
There are sufficient dishes for those who don't like spicy food but much of the choices are fried dishes.

Drifters is located right at the waters edge on the Naa Jomtien Soi 8 peninsula,20 minutes out of town,just on the outskirts of Jomtien/ Pattaya. Casual open air beach side dining, laid back, nothing fancy. We specialize in 100% wood fired thin crust Pizza. Aussie Meat Pies. Authentic cocktails, variety of cold local and craft beers, great soft rock n roll music

The view Mare restaurant is located about 30mins south of Pattaya City, in truth it is not that easy to find as even our local taxi driver had a problem locating it. However it is well worth the effort, the beach location is wonderful with excellent sunset views. The open plan restaurant & bar is huge with lanterns on the beach tables, a great vibe. We were a group of about 14 people celebrating one of our friends birthday, the food (Thai and seafood dishes) was plentiful (see photos) and delicious and the beer / wine never stopped flowing. Also great value as I believe we paid about US$ 27 per person (although economies of scale probably helped in keeping the price low). We found the service to be excellent, seamed to have about 4 waiters / waitresses just for our group (we did keep them busy poring the beers !!).
On the night we visited there was live music. Also has a beachware / sea sports shops.
Recommended for both a drink and food.

I like all of these pier restaurants mostly for the steamed fish. Fresh as you walk past it in the tank, and that's why it takes a little while for it to arrive. Always loads of young staff there so anything you ask for quickly arrives. Its not the best one but its also far from being the worst.

We were in Pattaya for holiday for 3 nights and had dinner at Pusan twice! The food was very good and the friendly service was even better, excellent Thai seafood at a casual semi open air place, with lots of car park and Seating. Excellent value too and we spent less than HK$400 each meal, with lots of food. Thank you Pupan and we will be back for sure.

Classical Italian cuisine in an elegant air conditioned dining room with Thai food available. We also have a dining area in our vine garden at the rear of the restaurant.

Restaurant serves traditional & contemporary Indian cuisine from North & South India, from Curries to Tandoori clay oven baked delights. Including a delicious variety of seafood dishes within our menu. And also a generous array of fine wines from all over the globe to compliment the diverse flavors of our cuisine.
Little Indian in bang saray.
Easy to find;
Since my first post on this Indian in May; this establishment has now changed its menu and prices including changing the chef out; unfortunately it is not to my liking any longer and hence of yesterday maybe our last visit there.

Recently my better half and i decided to try this establishment as we live close by and pass it almost daily. Nett result i believe we will continue passing it daily to anywhere else. Food is decent but way overpriced for the area. I had a pork schnitzel which was dry even though the gravy boat was full. It does have a extensive menu for both european and thai food. Mickey herself is a charm and for some i can understand the appeal to become a regular visitor.
Reality is there is a fair amount of competition cheaper options and better views. A personal touch is important for some but not so for others.

The Papillon Restaurant in the U Pattaya Hotel is a great place for a weekend brunch. The restaurant overlooks the large horizon pool which leads your eyes to a beautiful part of the Eastern Seaboard. Actually I am not sure why they call the hotel U Pattaya as it is about 40 km from Pattaya at Bang Saray.
The buffet is well priced at under Baht 1000, and for an additional Baht 850 you can get free flow of wine - both are very quaffable. The buffet offers a reasonable buffet of appetizers and salads including fresh oysters, prawns, and mussels. The mains are ordered from a menu, but can be ordered in whatever quantity you like. The duck confit was particularly good as was the smoked salmon (it is mistakenly listed as gravalax on the menu). The staff are well trained and professional and the chef loves to have a chat with the diners, and is very open to feedback. The U Pattaya is a beautiful property, and the brunch is a welcome addition to the Eastern Seaboard food scene.
