I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel looks really clean from ourside to inside the room. I was impressed by the welcome drink - pineapple juice! The best juice I’ve ever taste before 10/10. The receptionist was very kind and helpful, she gave me a lot of travel advise and needed information. All the staff are friendly, always wear a big smile. I rented e-bike here. It was really great to ride around and enjoy the atmosphere. Thank you Bagan Nova. Absolutely come back if I have a chance!

The hotel is very near to the boat station for making sightseeings in Inlay Lake. It has a nice view and the price is so worth to stay here. We got excellent breakfast on first day and on second day we had to leave from this hotel in early morning, but they arranged morning box with egg, some fruits and bread toast with jams and yogurt for us. The staffs are very friendly and flexible. The rooms are very nice and clean.

It is located at the Yangon Chinatown and can be easily accessed to explore downtown and other famous places. It has comfortable rooms with AC and 24 hour TV channels. Only one awkward thing is the taste of water. It is ok with the shower but it troubles when brushing teeth. Because they get water supply from underground hard water. But they offer 2 bottles of drinking water every day. And you can take small free drinking water bottles in the lobby. The manager and staffs are really friendly. They have a laundry service. If you need a taxi, the staff will arrange it for you. A great free breakfast is offered every single day. It has options of fried rice, fried vermicelli, Shan Noodle or Toast. There are also small restaurants and street foods which open late night and early morning. I'll stay there again when I visit to Myanmar.

Kalaw is my favourit place. I visit so many times. Last time I got very nice trips but now I haven't because of hotel. I stayed 2nights at Seint hotel. First day we arrived early so we took early check in, still ok that time. Second day we visited around city. Before we left we told to make housekeeping but no one didn't. They said that FO was forgot to make it. They should link each other. I didn't see any theam work. Another problem is that we want to buy coffee at shop counter but staffs didn't know the price. The last one is about breakfast. It is terrible bad, speakless. The staffs are not sweet I didn't find any smile from them.

A lovely family-run cozy motel with refreshing garden, where providing to make a wonderful and unforgettable memories while you are in Yangon! Located on Thirimingalar Street of Insein Township, great location of which 15 minutes drive from Yangon International Airport and close vicinity to Yangon City Development Golf Club.
About 2.5km away from Yangon Airport (domestic and international), we stayed here cuz Yangon Airport Hotel did not have sufficient rooms for our group and we just needed one night's transit stay. From airport, taxi price is about 7000 kyats (though one did go for 6000), however from this hotel to airport, it was only 2,500 to 3000 kyats. After having spent few days in Yangon, I learned that for a distance of about 2.5km, 3,000 kyats is actually about right (as that is the price taxis will quote you even in the city centre for the same distance) so try to stand your ground and find a taxi from airport to this hotel for 3,000 max 5,000 kyats (the latter already being very generous). Hotel grounds need work as the garden was barren and not green but rather mostly dirt soil and looked run down. The room was decent, however, drainage did not work so water from the night's shower did not drain AT ALL so it was flooded in the morning - hence I decided not to take a quick morning shower in the end before heading to the airport.

A Rural Living Style that best Illustrates the Nature & True hospitality of Myanmar. The Hotel- Kalaw Hill Lodge sits upon a 30 acre stretch of land on the Shan plateau, far from the hubbub of the Kalaw. The hotel has rooms which mimic the design of the local houses but are fitted with modern amenities and lavish en suite bathrooms. Just beyond the creek are cows, goats, Buffalo, pig and chickens; you are free to walk over to and around the farm, which will prove a paradise for keen twitchers. Guests of the Kalaw Hill Lodge are also able to take a spin in a cart led by oxen, and join a local family for lunch in the nearby village. It is not just overnight with us, it is whole experience that we facilitate you. Our Lodge guides take you every morning 07:30-08:45 to the whole experience of farming, cow milking , planting, feeding animals , visiting organic garden and OX cart ride. This is inclusive in your hotel room.
Rooms: we stayed on the ground floor as the upstairs rooms (which probably have better views) didn't have double beds. Rooms were clean, well appointed, simple but stylish with lots of nice custom woodwork. We had some trouble with the door as it's kind of sticky - to be expected when everything is custom made of wood. Room was very spacious. Good shower with strong pressure and hot water. Nice little seating area in front of each room to socialize. Facilities: Fantastic views, great organic gardens, you can go and pick your own fruits and vegetables from the garden if that's your things. Plenty of space to walk around. Adjacent to some nice hiking trails to go up into the hills. You can feed animals at a nearby farm. Lots of space to run around. Location: a 15 minute ride from town - this lodge is not in the center of Kalaw but well worth the short trip for those who appreciate the serenity of nature. Not really 'walkable' to town so consider either renting a car, bicycle, or motorbike if you want see more of Kalaw. F&B: Solid restaurant - Asian dishes were excellent but some of the western dishes could have used improvement. Good bar and fun happy hour every evening. Breakfast good enough thought not amazing. Staff and Management: Very friendly, strong service, really helpful. Were able to arrange bookings quickly at fair prices. Bookings manager very friendly and helpful. Overall the lodge's team really pulls the experience together. Overall: highly recommend.

A nice stay, rooms were clean and comfortable, fresh towels daily, a little unfriendly to the environment in that sense but for the money paid it was a real gem. Staff were always friendly and happy to help. There were no western options at breakfast other than a bit of bread but it was okay. The only down side was that there was building works going on throughout the day but most people were out on the lake so not a big deal! We extended twice and were sad to leave such a comfy place.

We stayed here for a week over Christmas, with our dog. The hotel is well laid out with beautiful gardens for walking, there is obviously a plan to live up to the name ‘Hill Top Garden’. The staff were really helpful, and the restaurant served tasty food, mostly local but there were a couple of western dishes (fish & chips) which were very nice. There’s not much restaurant competition, except on the beach where we ate every lunch, having fish dishes. The rooms were small basic, but we spent our time on the veranda, so it was quite pleasant. The power is off all day (6pm-6am) which is a bit frustrating, but we were expecting this. While they say pet-friendly, several street dogs making this a bit challenging, but better than most ‘ pet-friendly’ hotels here. Definitely recommend this place, if you want to support community tourism.
