I had the Monte Cristo and it was delicious! The combo of flavors in the sandwich itself, plus the jam makes it heavenly! The restaurant is cute and the servers (and Carol) are helpful. Sometimes the place can get a bit noisy - high ceilings, hard surfaces - but it is worth it!

Turkish,Mediterranean healthy home cooking, Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.Four years in a row number one restaurant in lakeland Florida.
It is always a tough decision......chicken kabobs, brisket, or the vegetable plate? All are wonderfully delicious and present a marvelous flavor unlike anything you will taste at any other restaurant in Lakeland. Zuppina is famous for everything Berna cooks!! The baklava is so light and airy that it melts away in your mouth and the pistachios give it a distinctive and tantalizing flavor......it's hard to describe because it is so good! Friendly staff and indescribable food make you want to come back again and again! Go and experience it; you will be convinced that it is #1!

I have stopped at Carter’s Barbeque a handful of times over the last few years. The Barbeque has always been tasty and the sides adequate. The restaurant caters to To-Go orders but there is some outdoor seating. On my most recent visit I had the Ribs with Macaroni & Cheese and Collard Greens. The Ribs were tender and meaty and served with a flavorful homemade mustard based BBQ sauce that complimented the meat perfectly. The sides were pretty standard. Overall, Carter’s is a solid quality option for good barbeque.

The family and I tried and loved the el Cubano, American Cuban, beans with rice & onions, and devil crab. The staff was warm and welcoming.
Oh yeah.. the fresh brewed tea was great. Don't take tea for granted because many restaurants seem to mess it up.
This may have been our first visit but certainly will not be our last! Next trip I'm trying the Cuban potato.

This is an average takeout restaurant that turned a bad situation into a better one. I was horrified to have an entire quart of soup leak in my car because of an unsealed container. This in turn ruined the rest of the food. They were very nice about replacing it and adding an additional item for the trouble. I enjoyed their crab Rangoons and the very tender Spicy Shredded Beef. Spring rolls were also very tasty. I will likely return, but I will always ck the seals on soup! My car was such a mess!

The chicken was okay the fries were a little soggy but tasty. The counter help was very friendly and seemed anxious to please overall not bad but PDQ up the road offers a much better dinner.

I waited to leave a review because I did not want anyone to get into trouble. After placing my order I arrived at the window to pay. After giving the employee a $50 bill I received a very bad attitude. She literally said are you kidding me a $50 bill. I probably will not go back for a while. I do recognize that this is fast food and that employee more than likely is no longer there but still bad experience.

Unfortunately the feel of a small town diner is lost. Daily specials listed but not available on weekends down to the expensive pricing for small portion meals. From a cheeseburger with little flavor to the best Cuban sandwich in town being overly pressed and hard.

Recently, after Hurricane Nate had come directly through our area, we were looking for something quick to eat and I decided to check out the local Lil Casears in the strip shopping center down the road from our subdivision and order their "Most Bestest" pizza since it was only going to feed my wife and I...I called in my order for pickup at 6:45 PM that same evening and picked it up, while several folks were waiting for their orders to be baked... 'Not only was the pizza ready, but remarkably, it was a Great pizza! Plenty of cheese and pepperoni so would recommend the store to anyone wanting to find a "good pizza" close by. We'll be back. The staff were very friendly and was surely a "find" in the area after having paid 3X that amount for a large pizza @ the local Mulberry Pizza Palace that was icky at best a few weeks earlier...

We have been here many times over the years they have been here. We have never had a bad meal. Everything always come out as asked. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and eat. Which is great for people watching. We will continue to go here as often as we can. Never get tired of it.
