A nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. The fish was fresh and there was a good selection of meze There was no menu so we had no idea of prices for the food or drinks. The wrong drinks arrived plus they forgot to include a dish we asked for and the service was slow. We have been here before but it didn't stand out so much this time.

The food was excellent with a fantastic selection of meze to start. We had grilled fish which we chose, it tasted as good and fresh as it looked! The host spoke very good English and took care of us, he even catered for our gluten intolerance. Could not recommend this more!

Nice outdoor seating with great service.Fresh fish, cooked to order for a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere.Zumro (excuse the spelling) was exceptional. Well groomed, friendly and extra helpful. She actually said she didn't work there but was working there all night!Busy busy popular place, maybe make a booking if possible.
This place recently changed owners. New owner is an arrogant and rude man. I donât know about food or prices but a man who treats rudely to his neighbours doesnât deserve to be visited in guvercinlik which has many many nice restaurants with friendly owners.

Wandered down to the restaurant during the day to check it out and decided to stay for a drink; received a good welcome from the Manager who chatted to us for a while and we booked a table for the next night. The restaurant is typical blue and white with painted tables and chairs, not smart but then the view is outside - its position on the estuary is perfect. There was an excellent assortment of mezes, some of the best we have had in many years of visiting Turkey; we chose our fish which was 120TL so not cheap but we really could not fault its cooking or service. At this point I should say that there are many other options including some farmed fish, so you don't have to pay this much. The wines were also very good but this is where you will find your bill increasing as a bottle of reasonable white wine is 90TL (in the shops the same wine is 30TL) - this is as much or more than we pay at home for an equivalent wine.We had one unusual experience when there was a power cut; at which point all the fish alongside the restaurant started leaping out of the water ! Apparently this always happens but it was pretty amazing to watch. Candles were out in moments and we were rather looking forward to finishing our meal by candlelight but power was restored quite swiftly.Overall, a very good evening. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and the owners introduced themselves, there was a pleasant buzz and nothing was rushed. It was an expensive night out, approx £100 for the two of us, which you don't often pay in Turkey but we had expected this. One unfortunate downside which is why only a 4 and not a 5 was the disgraceful state of the toilets. Not acceptable.
