Fami
Located right opposite the birder's lodge, this place is supposedly known for its herbal chicken. We didn't have that though. We had the fried omelette, grilled pork, spicy lao mushroom soup, khaaw ngiaw and a plate of noodles akin to pad Thai and grape juice from local gran monte I think. Food was average, people running the place were friendly. I probably liked the sticky rice best

VinCotto by GranMonte is GranMonte vineyard’s 120-seat family restaurant favoured by both local and overseas guests alike. Caters to diners from holidaying families to wine lovers. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon this indoor outdoor restaurant hit the spot My choice of slow roast duck and roasted rosemary potatoes far exceeded my expectations. Another nice thing about this restaurant is that it is dog friendly. Service was up to normal Thai standard!
What adverse comment would be that this restaurant is pretty much aimed at a Thai clientele (I was the only foreigner there) and many are not that knowledgeable about wine so as a winery why not pitch your prices to attract more drinkers. 300 baht a glass is far too high for a local wine, but guess it's all about profit.

This place is outstanding. Great selection of beers. Food is excellent. I love the tuna salad. Staff and owners are very internationally minded. Give it a try. It's on the left on the road from Pak Chong to Khao Yai National Park. Google it for exact location.

Nicely decorated. Glass room showing how the chocolate are made. Good for chill out. A mini playground for children and bubbles blowing out for 10 mins at every hour.

Since 1998 Krua Khao Yai (ครัวเขาใหญ่) has served popular Thai cuisines from fresh ingredients from local suppliers together with our own selected smoked pork ribs range. Considered to be one of the local delicacies, it is a place to visit to experience "Khao Yai's local taste".

Located on Thanarat Rd. (KM 13.5) it is conveniently a popular lunch break among tourists but we are opened throughout the day. We have a number of friendly English speaking staff ready to provide you service.
Went in Dec to try out their pork ribs. And it was delicious. Food are great and not pricey. Service was great too, although have to wait for a while because we went on a Sunday and it was crowded, but worth the wait. Will definitely return again.

We are a small family run bar and restaurant in Khao Yai. Very friendly with air conditioned bar on the ground floor and restaurant upstairs. We are located at Veneto Piazza, next the 'Palio Khao Yai'. Our menu remains the same as our last location, great Pizza's, English and Thai food at reasonable prices, not to mention the Ice Cold Beer!!!
I think consistency in life is the way to be successful at everything. And for a restaurant to receive a number one TripAdvisor rating they have to be fairly consistent. One or two 2 -star ratings here and there can really affect your 5 stars. I certainly will not be the one to vote this restaurant under the five stars it deserves.
As we were staying in Khao Yai, we wanted to find a good restaurant within 10 km of where we were. We choose this restaurant after reviewing the menu and the fact it was the number one rated TripAdvisor restaurant in Khao Yai.
I decided upon the seafood pasta dish while the other folks in the dinner party had the green curry chicken, the massaman curry chicken, and the Larb Gai. We settled on Grey Goose vodka and soda waters (4 total) and a glass of red wine and white wine. I will say the house white wine was not our favorite and being wines snobs from the US, with a new appreciation of French, Australian, and South American wines, we easily labeled the white wine as not very good. The red table wine was drinkable and was acceptable at 140 Baht per glass. The Vodka tonics were well presented as we had vodka and added our own soda water for our own strength. They were extremely reasonably priced also.
We started off with a bruschetta appetizer that was a fair portion for 4 people and the topping was full of garlic tomatoes and basil along with a little bit of sugar which I was on not accustomed to but it made for a palatable appetizer. The seafood pasta was extremely good. A perfect proportion of olive oil and cherry tomatoes that were fresh along with shrimp that was easily discernible as fresh and not frozen. The green curry had a decidedly Witches Brew recipe and it was very good as was the massaman curry. My friend commented on his larb gai (a finely chopped, but not minced, chicken) that it was probably one of the several best he has had since living in Thailand for the last year-and-a-half. That says a lot coming from somebody who has traveled all over Thailand and Southeast Asia.
The staff was friendly and service was was quick for individually cooked dishes. As a nice added touch the cook, who I believe may have been the owner, stopped by our table and checked in on us and the food.
So, the Witches Brew easily gets a 5 star rating from me in all three of my restaurant 3Fs - Fare, Finance, and Friendliness...the food was very good, you didn't break the bank going here at 1100 bhat per couple, and the staff was very responsive. I would recommend you take time out of your schedule when visiting Khao Yai and stop in for a meal.

Thai food, Italian food, fusion food, Afternoon Tea with TWG tea, Englist country style and English Garden view
Our last meal in Khao Yai was at the Castle which is an English-themed restaurant attached to the Thames Valley hotel and resort. They serve Western as well as Thai food and of course we ate the latter. The decor of the restaurant is very...MoreDear Adrianloh, Thank you very much for your lovely feedback. We are really happy to know that you had a great time with us. I hope you we can welcome you back in the near future! Best regards, The Castle Restaurant and Tea room team.

As I was staying at the Thames Valley Resort I decided to try their afternoon tea on three occasions at the Clotted Cream Tea Room.
On the first afternoon I tried the scones and tea, the second just tea and the third waffle with ice cream and a coffee. The service was patchy and on two occasions I had to ask for service and the bill. With only a few guests in the tea room I felt the staff could have been more attentive.Although the resort has an English Cottage feel to it, I felt the food and tea didn't reach any great culinary heights. More like a bakery with coffee and tea with a nice setting for photos. The cost is quite expensive so this might put off some people.

The location is perfect both for accessible and views. There is large parking area around which is easily to park. The waitress is welcoming.
My dish is original smoke ribs which is abit too salty. Other dishes of my wife and son eg chicken wings, Wagyu steak are just fine.
