Admiralty House

A lovely old house full of charm and character with a beautiful garden and a great view over the lough.

We stayed in this B&B for 1 night for a wedding nearby. Patrick, our host allowed us to check in early and gave us a very warm welcome even offering us a lift to the wedding hotel. We had a big spotlessly clean spacious room with tea/coffee and biscuits, lots of towels and bathrobes. There were two big bathrooms just across the hall, one with a bath and shower and the other with a shower. Patrick explained that they are not offering breakfast at present but pointed us in the direction of William Norris, a great cafe in Moville. Many thanks indeed.

Our Wedding Day

Reviewed By Niamhmcv

We recently just got married on 6th of May 2022 and had our reception with the Redcastle Oceanfront, Golf & Spa Hotel. Our day was perfect from start to finish, honestly our guests did not stop talking about how amazing it was and how lovely everything was. The whole booking process was really easy and stress free, the staff were so so helpful and made the planning side of things very enjoyable. Nothing was too much for them. There were also a few extra touches which was a surprise to us on the day (I won't ruin it for anyone) but honestly they were just amazing and made our day even more special. The food was honestly amazing, and the service was top class, there was nobody sitting around waiting ages for food or other guests finished before other tables, everyone was served so quickly and I couldn't explain just how excellent the service truly was. If anyone is thinking of booking there wedding with this hotel, don't even think twice about it as they really are top class. We can't wait to go back for a stay.

Barron's Cafe, Takeaway and B&B

Excellent comfort and value

Reviewed By rubadubsky

I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated six great nights at Barron's. Marie was very kind and considerate in offering me a choice of two rooms. Although I prioritised quietness, I chose a room at the front as it was fun to look out the window at Main Street. Moville is a lively town with plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants, there's quite a lot of traffic through it, but it was never too noisy. My room was very comfortable and warm. Breakfast was fantastic. Everyone working at Barron's was kind and helpful. Another great thing is that you can get a good meal in the cafe at night. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back. There is great walking down by the Foyle and good bus service to nearby towns and indeed to Dublin Airport. I couldn't have asked for more and it was tremendous value. Thank you Marie!

We stayed at Cheery Tree House for 2 nights as we were visiting Ireland for a wedding. Our only regret was that we were not there longer! What an amazing place with such great Stenton to detail. Colleen the host and owner could not do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble. I would visit again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone. By a country mile this is the best B and B that I have ever stayed in.

Interesting place

I thought this place had a certain rustic charm. The decor is not to my taste but it's not off-putting. It's near the lough and the food is worth trying. Beware the portions are large so careful when ordering.
