Coach Lane Restaurant @ Donaghy's Bar is a multi-award-winning family run eatery located in the heart of Sligo. Check out our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter too, @coachlanesligo for the latest mouthwatering snaps!
This place.... as there isn't much competition in Sligo is good, the staff are good, the place is good, the food and it's presentation is good.. but it could be and SHOULD be so much better...Another hopeful visit last Saturday evening with another couple left me feeling rushed...(10 pm... forcing us downstairs to a practically empty bar) and although my friends husband had phoned that morning to say it was her 50th birthday & could they acknowledge it...one scoop of icecream and a sparkler was the acknowledgement...we spent at least 200 euro...my 6 year old had a mocktail made for her in Bianconis! Surely the pastry chef could have managed to write her name on a plate...?!... I rest my case..again....

Italian Restaurant
Arrived at the door for dinner as a group of six without a reservation and were professionally accommodated after some reshuffling of tables. We all had a variety of dishes from steak to pasta along with a carafe of house red and everyone was complimentary on the quality of the food and drink. A Lovely atmosphere and decor coupled with a price range that won't break the bank gives you a great little Italian restaurant which i would highly recommend if in Donegal Town.

Great atmosphere, tables are on on top of each other, staff very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Chicken wings are divine
Crab claw main courses- biggest crab claws we have seen and a good portion size. Sauce is superb. A slightly fresher bread is the only possible improvement on this.
Steaks- what can we say?...? Let’s put it this way; every main course we saw on other tables looked lovely and there was a great selection to choose from BUT you must have the steak!!!
The nicest fillet steak I have had in a long time and as authentic as you could get- onions, mushroom, choices of sauces and potatoes- flavoursome at its very best.
The Venue is a long way from home for us- but it was certainly the highlight of our short trip to the area and we will make another trip in the future built around dining in The Venue again.
Good value too!!!
Highly highly highly highly recommended.

A beautiful meal in a beautiful restaurant. Although the dining room isn’t big we were seated at a corner table so weren’t really overlooked by other diners. It was very comfortable.
The food was wonderful, from the garlic prawns starter to the tiramisu dessert and of course the wonderful wine.
The staff were very courteous and knowledgeable. We will most certainly be back!!

The Peak was recommended to us by our b & b hosts and it did not disappoint. Amazing view of the bay. We all ate different meals and all thought the quality was excellent especially the lobster and mussels. Staff were very friendly and we can't wait to go back

The Gaslight Inn with fully Licensed Restaurant and B&B sit's on the cliff face overlooking Donegal Bay, The Blue Stack Mountains and the blue flag beach of Rossnowlagh. At The Gaslight we offer superb food and hospitality in true Irish tradition.
I was here last month with my husband and two children. I rang ahead and booking and we just got in the door before they gave our table away. We were seated at a table near kitchen which wasn't ideal but anywhere else would have awkward with a high chair. The food was gorgeous but I felt very anxious everytime the baby cried or looked for attention. It was stressful for us but the staff were great. I found dessert menu limited and expensive but I will be back again but I will have a sitter booked

In the Harrison family since 1898, a multi award winning restaurant and bar
Not surprising that this place receives awards for its ambience , lovely coal fire and homely surroundings . A slight disappointment though , arriving in after a trot around mullaghmore and having a good appetite , the portions were small. Ordering the chicken an chorizo pie with a small portion of chips , it looked ok but sadly I think the chorizo was absent and at something like 16euro , a bit over the top . My wife had a burger and likewise a little on the small size and nothing exciting. With the emergence of the small plate the prices are not reflecting the downsizing of mains .

A visit to the Northwest is not complete without stopping off at Award-Winning Langs Gastro Pub in Grange, County Sligo. This family run establishment began serving food 8 years ago. Since then, the combination of quality home cooked food & our friendly & welcoming atmosphere in relaxed surroundings continues to attract tourist & locals alike. Because of its popularity, the area was extended recently with extensive dining area, though newly built, blending seamlessly with the old. Langs Bar & Restaurant is in one of the most picturesque locations in Ireland with the majestic Benbulben mountain on one side & the rugged beauty of the Atlantic coast at Streedagh Beach on the other. It's only 15 miles from Sligo - the shopping capital of the Northwest & is also only 10 miles from the fun of Bundoran. It serves as a gateway to Donegal & Northern Ireland.
Phoned as we were leaving Sligo.Got table booked 15 mins in advance of arrival. Very helpful staff. Fast service and reasonably priced.

A must visit for anyone going to Sligo for a weekend. Great tasting food served with a smile. Salads, sandwiches, souo, fantastic cakes and a great view of the Atlantic waves rolling into Co. Sligo.
