Local farms and waters are the inspiration for this New American restaurant that focuses on preparing menus using ingredients that change with each season. American microbrews and wines are carefully selected to pair with each dish our chefs create. Enjoy our House-Infused Artisanal Cocktails made with seasonal purees and fresh squeezed juices while overlooking the Long Island Sound on either the outdoor patio, upstairs seating or cozy lounge. Established in 2004 in Greenport, this Zagat top-rated restaurant for both food and service moved in Spring 2008 to Port Jefferson harbor.
We visit with friends in Port Jeff three or four times a year and at least one night of every visit we go to The Fifth Season because it is that good. We try different restaurants on the Island at every visit because we all...MoreThank you for your review Hillary! Happy Holidays and we look forward to seeing you again in the future!

This is a small family run business and has been here for years. I've been coming here since I am a kid and the results are always as expected; delicious homemade ice cream. LOTS of flavors to choose from and everyone of them is delicious!

Cash only but you can bring your own alcohol. Went for restaurant week. The steak was good but the chicken was meh. You can tell it's an old historical house turned into a restaurant. The food didn't wow me. Parking is a nightmare

This place is huge, they have friendly staff and quick service. They even have dog treats/cookies. Very colorful place, not expensive at all & the ice cream was delicious. They also have all sorts of desserts and candies. Definately worth walking into even if you just want to look around. You will definately enjoy this shop.

Toast Coffeehouse is an innovative breakfast and lunch eatery with and artistic vibe located in the Village of Port Jefferson and the Patchogue Village area. All of this together makes Toast Coffeehouse an excellent place to dine for both the relaxed, elegant, & funky.
Service mediocre, food not special. What hair for my girl's birthday in the morning and order the eggs benedict which were very very runny. Tasted okay except English muffin underneath was not toasted. I don't know how you screw up an English muffin and forget to toast it but they did. Potatoes that came with the eggs benedict for Bland at best. You could tell they are using a high-quality potato but all you can taste is paprika and blandness. Cousin had french toast which she said was very good and fiance had pancakes which also were very good she said. No one came over during breakfast to ask us how everything was except for in the very beginning when only two out of three of us had gotten our food. They never came back to ask us if we needed a napkin or anything else which I definitely did because eggs Benedict is messy. They only came back at the end to ask if we wanted to check or anything else. Very mediocre experience at best will probably not be back

Always a great variety of dinner specials. I have been coming to this diner for many years. Their staff are like family. They are great with the kids too. The baker makes the most amazing pies and cakes. We love their Turkey dinner. If you are in the mood for a burger deluxe then you won't find a tastier better one anywhere else. Donna is our waitress because we request her every time. Such a lovely person. This diner always feels like going to visit family and having the best meal too.

Without a doubt, Wasabi is absolutely my favorite restaurant within miles of my home in Mount Sinai. The sushi is fresh and remarkable and the hibachi tables usually draw a huge crowd and remain a family favorite. The restaurant has the "trendy" look that you usually find in Manhattan without the inflated prices that usually have to be tolerated to enjoy this fine a dining experience.

Yum!! So fresh! Each roll is better than the other! I don't have a favorite... love them all!!!! Been here MANY times with the kids and without. The boys LOVE the hibachi dining and the "show"! Most recently I just went with my husband and enjoyed the dining side. I'm sure the waitress thought we were crazy as we ordered many rolls! We wanted to go home with leftovers! They have a great happy hour!!!! And if it's your birthday... 7 days before/after... 50% of your meal & free fried ice cream! We'll be back MANY TIMES! This is definitely a local favorite of mine! And I suggest making a reservation!
