We passed through Mt. Pleasant enroute to Florida. Cute little town. Decor of the restaurant is nothing special, kitschy pictures of old movie stars and musicians, like many places have. The food though, is AMAZING!!! Get the chicken and waffles, its a game changer. Everything else is great too. You can thank me later!

Love Love Love the food....but the last two visits were disappointing because everyone behind the counter seemed like they didn't care. Gruff, almost rude. They should treat each customer to a smile and welcome, at the very least.

If you like ice cold craft beer on tap, delicious burgers & wings (and much more), and a wonderful staff & fun setting then look no further. The taproom is all that & much more!
It's so unfortunate that the misconception exists: "If you want those beers and that atmosphere, you gotta go to Nashville." Not true! Save yourself the drive & cash! Go to TJ Smawls Taproom! You won't regret it.

We ordered the hamburger steak plate, large cheeseburger plate with drink, and a meat and 2 plate with peach cobbler all for $25! Everything was so good and we will definitely be back soon!!! Service was very friendly and thorough and our take out order had everything needed without asking. They have a new building and it was beautiful! We will be stopping here often when we are in town!

What a great little restaurant to happen upon. The place is clean and the service was super fast. The food was nice and hot and the flavor was above the big city places. The hot sauce was our favorite as it reminded us of an old favorite restaurant in East Lansing Michigan. If you've ever been to MSU you know the place.

Don't let the appearance similar to a "closed business" make you drive down the road. Dari Gem is open and the Chicken is off the charts good. Potato wedge and slaw is pretty good as well. Be prepared to place your order about 10-15 minutes before you need to eat, etc. It's all cooked upon ordering. Dari Gem is a relative to Jumbo's in Columbia, TN - another Triple D candidate!
Oh, be careful with the drive thru. There is a drop-off as you pull through....shocker, be careful.

No better no worse than most others I've tried. If you like Subways, you'll probably like this one. Open early for Lunch.

Very good pizza, ingredients were fresh, crust was thin but not too crisp. Service was excellent. Great young people behind the register area.
