Great location - on the main strip
Great food - but I couldn't finish it lol
Great beer - literally the pale ale is so good
Great WiFi - usually fast
Great music - either house or a live artist. When I went the artist was a blonde girl with a kind of Norah Jones style voice. I'd listen to her any day. Beautiful voice. The house music sounds fresh and chilled.
I don't think I'm used to the New Zealand prices tho, a little pricey for me but hey, I did keep coming back for more.

A good experience my partner had a savoury muffin and date scone with an excellent cup of coffee. I tasted the seafood chowder which was extremely tasty, with obviously fresh fish a good helping of scallops and a few prawns in a very tasty creamy sauce complete with sliced ciabatta. Service was good considering it was a busy place.

Warm, inviting atmosphere, great tasting food, Awesome hospitality, great value for your money on a tight budget....
We called in to Turkish Delight on an impulse as we felt like eating something 'non-bready' and fresh. We both ordered the Lamb Salad and two glasses of wine. Service was great... very friendly staff, smiling and helpful. The portions when they arrived were very generous and the salads were fresh and crunchy. The lamb was very tender and tasty - not overcooked as it sometimes can be with kebab-type meals.

Every time we are at The Mount, we have dinner here. But most recently, I feel their food has slipped.
I’m sure in the past we have received complimentary corn chips & salsa (?) - definitely not any more.
I ordered tacos. My partner got the enchiladas. After a long wait, our food arrived. Looked delicious. My Tacos were, except that the menu said crispy chicken with Mexican slaw. I was really looking forward to the slaw. Instead I got what appeared to be store brought mesclun. And not even a mixture. Basic, cheap greens with a blob of dressing. Literally 2 pieces of chicken in each small taco, with some green leaves.
My partners “salad” was the same. And his enchiladas were not spicy at all and had a weird taste (perhaps due to the sauce he ordered).
For the $46 for 2 (small) mains, I feel like we can do better elsewhere.
Sorry guys, won’t be back.

Well let me tell you, there is good service here, and the young lady who usually works Fridays would give Ivanka Trump a run for her money..if you get my drift. Wowee, you could trip up on entering the premises, it's that impressive. Aside from all that the coffee's not as good as Tahlula's :)

I live in Auckland and have the best coffee shop across the street in Kohi so I am usually loathe to purchase coffee elsewhere. However, the coffee at Luca this morning was exceptional. Only problem is the price - at $5.50 its higher than Auckland. But as a certified JAFA I’m was happy to pay the price

Delissi is a contemporary small plates restaurant that aims to provide a unique and exciting dining experience. We provide entree sized dishes, two of our entree dishes are equivalent to a main elsewhere - the same amount of food, same sort of price but you get to try two dishes. We aim to have fresh, seasonal and locally sourced products.
Warm welcome on a wet blustery evening. Amuse Bouche perfect way to start our evening. We were there to celebrate our daughters move to this area and a fine food celebration it was. We chose 4 entrees between us and a side order. I particularly enjoyed the flavour of the confit duck, the beef cheek was tender and tasty and we all enjoyed the presentation and flavours of aranchini and the chicken parmigiana.
Desserts did not fail to impress both visually and for taste
Hard surfaces make conversations a little difficult but we were very happy to share food and eat.
A lovely experience all round. We will be back soon
