Republic is the place to go to if you want good shisha in Lebanon i am a regular there they have the most friendly staff you will ever meet that makes you feel welcomed form the moment you step in the food there is good they have a big variety menu plus of you have kids they have a bowling alley and games for kids

I got really in love with this charming place that I just kept come each night. The warm atmosphere will attract you and the good cocktails and homemade food and snacks served with love will keep you come back always. You must visit it if you like to hang on with local people with open minded and good sense of humor. You will never regret! I have never eaten at the place but I order 2 -3 times a week.Great value for money. Wide selection especially for "plat du jour".It is a tiny place which is most suited for deliveries not dining in.

I went there with my partner on a weekday evening for dinner. We had made a reservation for two. They have local wine at around 45$ per bottle which is ok. But the entrée and salad we had ordered were very pricy for a too little quantity and very very ordinary taste. I had s smoked salmon salad and i felt like i was eating at a McDonald's for 10 times the price i would have paid. The service was ok but not impressive. We had to wait before they come to refill wine glasses. They advertise that it's a french cuisine... Big joke!

My gf and I were passing in the area and stopped to have lunch at this newly renovated restaurant. It was one of the best experience I ever had around the world. This restaurant has excellent arabic food and shisha. But when friebds recommended it for sushi i was surprised until i tried. Excellent sushi, fresh, diverse and tasty with a twist. Worth a try that i went there 2 days in a row the sunset is a treat for the senses.

Passed by Shtrumpf for a salad and dessert. The place was calm and cozy as usual at Shtrumpf. The service was friendly and attentive. Tried their feta and greenerie salad and I can say it was full of greenerie!! Their dessert Caesar's pie was however tasty and highly recommended.
