Located in the heart of Moulay Idriss we offer 7 ensuite rooms, WIFI, comforts, restaurant and local knowledge. Relax on the terrace, see the Muslim pilgrimage to the Mausoleum, experience the local Saturday market, swim in the thermal springs of the roman baths, enjoy mint tea in the main square, explore Volubilis or just relax. We can arrange tours of Moulay Idriss, Volubilis as well as tours in the surrounding area. Our terrace restaurant is open every day for all visitors. Hot water is provided by solar and has a great pressure. Most rooms have aircon, and for the cooler months we have duvets and electric blankets.

Reviewed By 160brendamDefinitely stay here over anywhere else. Excellent food, heated blankets, comfortable rooms. The ladies that work here are very pleasant and informative. The location is fabulous, very easy to walk to and back from the Roman Ruins. Oh and not to forget the amazing coffee they serve. The best stay in Morocco.

Good for the cost
Reviewed By summer1234567891With not many options in Moulay Idriss, it was a nice enough stay. The house itself was very cold, but they provided 2 space heaters for our room to keep us warm and that they did. The water was piping hot, breakfast good, and Riad itself very quiet. The wifi did not reach to the room, but it was strong in the common area. We got some of our best sleep on our trip here. Shoukran!

Superb authentic homestay

Our host Mohammad and his family were absolutely delightful and so incredibly accomodating. My roomie and I stayed on the 1st guest floor which had a cute lounge/sitting area. Our room was beautiful and cosy with very comfortable beds. There is a terrace for viewing the stunning views of the town and the food they served us for dinner and then breakfast the next morning was the best food I've had in Morocco so far! I would highly recommend staying in this gorgeous family home!

Clean and comfortable
Reviewed By saramunWe stayed here one night after visiting Volubilis, and seemed to be the only guests there. I wasn't sure what to expect because tourism has been so low due to COVID restrictions, but as it turned out, I had nothing to worry about. My hotel room was clean and quiet, with hot water and air conditioning, for a very reasonable price. The owner was very nice. I didn't eat in the restaurant, so I can't given any advice on that. The hotel is in a great location--the marketplace is very close by, and we had excellent barbecue there for dinner. There was a variety of excellent fresh fruit for sale, and we bought some figs, cherries, and nectarines. The hotel could be a little hard to find on a crowded day. Just make sure to look for the sign at the taxi stand. The town of Moulay Idriss is really cool--it's very old and built on the side of a mountain. Most of the little "streets" that run vertically between the homes seem to be accessible only by foot, donkey, or possibly motorcycle. There are lots of donkeys! We had the unique experience of being there on trash day (Thursday morning) and got to see a sanitation donkey making his rounds of the neighborhoods. He carried a large basket on his back, into which a uniformed man deposited trash from each home. I'm really so glad we came here, it was a nice break from the chaos of the big cities. In fact, if I only had limited time and had to choose between spending a day in Moulay Idriss/Volubilis and spending a day in Casablanca, I would choose Moulay Idriss/Volubilis.

Elle a été notre guide dans la médina toute la journée, et grâce à elle et aux lieux et coopératives qu'elle nous a montré, nous avons pu saisir l'ambiance de la ville, voir l'artisanat très riche du Maroc et ne rien rater des monuments !!! Le lendemain, nous avons poursuivi avec elle pour les visites de Meknès, Volubilis et Moulay Idriss !!!! Elle nous a fait visiter son riad et nous avons préparé et mangé ensemble un excellent tagine kefta !!! Nous la remercions pour tout : les visites, son accueil et son hospitalité.
