Know that it is not a 100% Spanish restaurant. The waiter insisted when we got there that it is a "Catalan" restaurant. Meaning Spanish-French from the region.Don't expect a pure tapas place either (although it offers some). It is a nice restaurant, a tad pricey but in line with the area. Good food / wine.Better to book a table before going as it gets busy at rush hours!

The Wine Club is a very interesting address in Uccle, the Southern « commune » of Brussels.Located ch de Waterloo, Fort-Jaco, it serves wines. So far no surprise Interesting wines, most of them Bio, with a lot of references below 30 â¬.I was very excited to see (and taste ) Roc de Cambes 2012, a great bottle from François Mitjaville, the Bordeaux sorcerer.At 112 â¬, it looks pricy, but when you drink it, it explodes in the glass and surpasses a lot of much more expensive 1er Cru bottles.The first surprise comes along with the food. Most of the time, wine bars serve you banal humus and cheese board. Here the greek chef prepares delicious octopussy, an incredible risotto, tuna tataki, grilled vegetables and much more.A few days later I tried the beer list, and there comes the second surprise with almost 10 different bottled beers, all rated above 95/100 on RateBeer : Orval, Bellefleur, Gillardin, Lanterne⦠youâll need a few visits to approach them all.Last but not least, you can have a god meal with 2 wine glasses for less than 30 â¬.Highly recommended !

Je suis venu hier manger le lunch avec une amie, tout était parfait ! Les portions sont généreuses, de jolis dressages, une belle découverte au niveau des associations de goût et de texture ! Le patron est super sympa et de très bon conseils sur les vins ! Câétait la deuxième fois que je venais, la première fois jâétais venu avec ma compagne un soir, nous avons prit deux menus « découverte » et câétait excellent ! Une belle découverte ! Nous reviendrons très bientôt !

The Vino Veritas is a small bistro cafe and we were a group of 11 British golfers , the owners were great. Although fully booked, they seated us on the settees and presented us with a lovely selection of Tapas to the accompaniment of a small jazz combo.There was no Vin de Maison however the owner selected some bottles of wine which he allowed me to taste to confirm the style of the English palate. Quelle suprise , similar to the Upmarket Belgian appreciationOne of our group only drank beer ( which they do not stock) and the owner popped into the bar next door and purchased a supply for his gratificationWe left full of joie de vivre and totally satisfied and all for less than £25 each.Highly recommended

I came to Waterloo for a one week holiday, and I came across this lovely restaurant! When I entered I was instantly greeted by the amazing staff. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a nice, cosy atmospheric bar in Waterloo. During my stay here in Waterloo I have been to Wine and Design nearly every day, for their tasty wine and bagels. Definitely a good value for money!Greetings from John and Elizabeth!
