Traditional quality cooking(kitchen), with fresh products. To taste near the fireplace in winter, or, in the beautiful days, outside with an exceptional view on the Castle of Grignan. Air-conditioned large dining room (with fireplace) and bar. The indoor
A really lovely meal, with such friendly service. The food is beautifully served and wonderful to taste. The menu is rather limited in choice but what they have is very good. The special of the day had finished which was a shame but I would still go back.

Restauration traditionnelle servie sous forme de tapas. Un seul service pour garantir la qualité. Réservation vivement conseillée.
Loungy place in a very tiny town. Attractive outdoor terrace, equipped with trendy classical tables and chairs as well as a lounge chairs. Uncomplicated service with a big smile. Tapas were ok, not exceptional, just good. But given the cosy environment, certainly worthwhile visiting.Ps: please serve Belgian Affligem in the appropriate glass :-)

The evening we visited Saint Paul Trois Chateaux there was a jazz festival taking place. Having discovered that the hotel recommended restaurant only had one item on their âkids menuâ (Le Comptoir des Arts) we took our chance and tried to find somewhere more suitable to eat. The Bistro Gourmand perfectly fitted the bill. Despite not having reserved in advance we were warmly greeted, our dog was given some water and we settled down for the evening. After a first beer I decided to try the 51 Glacial Aperitif which was new to the market this year and an intriguing mixture of menthe & anis at a respectable 40°. I chose the menu comprising a salade gourmande followed by cod â dos de cabillaud aux pignons de pins. Delicious. My son went for the 4 cheese pizza and after having picked out all the blue cheese to smear on the crusty bread for me to eat he struggled successfully through the rest. To accompany the meal I went for a pichet of local rose wine which was nicely refreshing. Pichets of water were also on hand to help quench the thirst. Service was great throughout. Simple, down to earth and typically French even though we were officially in an Italian establishment. OK, the jazz where we were was not ideal â the female singer seemed to wail most of the time. But a late evening stroll through the streets brought us to other small bands who were much better. All in all, a lovely evening!
