This wine restaurant is located some 3 km from the Trier City Center, in the town district called Olewig. In this village there are still some wine producers. The restaurant is run by a family (Oberbilig?). It is a very nice family restaurant which open the evenings (at least Friday and Saturday evenings). All the wines come from the estate. They have some very nice Mosel Riesling wines (which in my opinion are almost as good as the best Alsace Rieslings wines), and also couple of types of red wines produced locally. Their best red wine is made of Pinot Noir grapes (well, you like Mosel Pinot Noir or not, it is a question of taste...). Choice of dishes is rather classical but the meat dishes are nicely cooked in the middle of this "weinstube" style restaurant. I personally find the atmosphere very cosy and people working in the restaurant were kind (even if you do not speak German). The prices are rather attractive at least if you compared to prices in Luxembourg or in France. The nice think is also that you can actually buy wine bottles from the restaurant since the wine restaurant is in the same building that the wine estate.

Pros:- good ambiance- terrace with a fine view over the park- tasty food but nothing mind blowing- friendly staff, we felt welcomeCons:- nothing really, a little clumsiness when it comes to the waitress who spilled some of the french fries while bringing the plate to our table, but that was rather funny, wouldnât take such thing into considerationPrices: burger 15â¬, caesar salad 15â¬, soup 6â¬, soda 2,8â¬Overall a good place to have a date night. Meals are not incredible but they are tasty and freshly cooked. You kinda pay for the view, but thatâs my personal point of view of course and in the end we enjoyed every second of it.Dear Diana,Thank you for your great Feedback. We are looking forward to welcome you again in the future.Warm regards from Trier.Your feel-good Manager from Nells Park Hotel

I really like this wine bar and shop. Whenever I am in Trier, I swing by to pick up some local wines. I like German wines and they have a good selection at reasonable prices in particular from the Moselle and the Saar region. Friendly services. Quite crammed though.

This "fish" self service/fast food restaurant (and wine shop) seems to have problems to deliver constant quality concerning the "minimum service! at the cash desk, bringing food to your table etc".Today when wanting to help myself to a little breadbasket when paying for 2 main dishes&drinks, I was told "NO", bread will be brought to the table with your food order..... needless to say that the bread never made it to our table :(Fish (Trilogie von Edelfischen, Seeteufel/lotte) is fresh and servings are good.At lunchtime waiting in line is necessary, even if you only want to get a second glass of wine for example.Large choice of tasty Moselle wines (bottles or by the glass) for a good price.Food&wine are ok, "service" is a hit&miss...Ambience is busy, crowded, noisy...

typical weinhaus fare and atmosphere - fine selection of primarily german wines but other wine producers also represented - mostly above a certain quality - food was generous and properly prepared if nothing spectacular- but one does not wish to be surprised- for worse nor better - service is attentive and knowledgeable.

We had reservation, came in, several student-trainees staring at us not even saying Hallo, when we asked for our reservation we were told to wait because at âourâ table is still somebody sitting while half of the tables were free without reservation. We took another table which was free and then read on the table that there is a self-service. So we queued to order. I wanted besides meal also black tea with lemon. âWe dont have lemonâ. Okay. Then Drinks and soup you bring to your table yourself on a tableau. I got a Gordon bleu... with lemon on top of the meat?! Meat was okay. Fries smelling like the oil was used way too many times. We had also asparagus with roasted potatoes. Potatoes good and warm. Asparagus with strawberries was cold and tasted weird. We did not have wine though. Maybe this is the only thing they can offer in good quality. Cannot, judge. Customer experience terrible anyway.

The dishes are based on the recipes of Yongâs mom, which we developed further. our âhome cookingâ is made from fresh ingredients and refined with Vietnamese herbs. our coconut curry soup enjoys cult status now. We also offer different weekly soups (such a
We went there for lunch after a walk in Trier. The place is nice, was quite busy on a Saturday at lunch - good service, nice food, reasonable price.
