We spent three Sundays in Sanary, and on two ate at Bard-o (excellent) and decided for the third to go to Un coin de...... which is on the other side of the town and is also the restaurant for the Grand Hotel in whose grounds it is located. With sun umbrellas it made a good location for outdoor eating on a hot day. I attach photos of the dishes we ate and I liked particularly the salmon carpaccio and the rosotto with scallops. You could eat more cheaply as we chose the most expensive main courses! Service was energetic with a young waiter moving at great speed! We intend to revisit when next in Sanary

After thinking I would miss this recommended gem of a restaurant due to scheduling conflicts, I was lucky enough to have a liesurely lunch (they are normally open only evenings 19h-22h except Wed and Sun). I have been extremely lucky personally and professionally to eat in very fine restaurants and I have had some great meals. A few of these have been very memorable. I count this lunch among those. It is as much to do with the quality and flavour of the food (and wine) as it is The experience.Although this place is small and unassuming do not underestimate this restaurant. It belies the reality that the owners want to make fabulous, approachable food that they would like to eat in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.The wine too is of great interest. Their focus is on natural wines and there is a solid selection of the best of these.If you are in Bandol and love wine and food, do not miss this place. A warning, they are most often booked. Reserve ahead.

A beautiful run family Deli/Bar recently opened in Sanary. What a great find. This gem of a shop sells locally produced products from cold meats, cheese, wine through to soap and gifts. But it also has an outdoor patio are where you can sample their products with a superb glass or bottle of wine. And if that is not your tipple they also serve blue or violet coloured Pastis. They have a menu in English too. This is not a place to get a hot meal but a place to sample some artisan products. The family are great and will help you decide what to try. Well worth a visit.

With 2 adults and 5 children we had a good diner. We ordered in batches, we wanted To see how Well the kids would eat tapas. We ordered 2 tableau Alegia and 1 tapas en folie. Next batch was 2 folie and one tableau mixed (charcuterie and fromages)All was served very Quick and no long waiting. Friendly staff. We go Back in 2017.
