Typical Florentine cuisine, with typical Florentine dishes as Beef Stew "Peposo alla Fornacina", T-bone Steak, Pasta dishes and a good wine selection from the Region.
This restaurant was certainly not worth the visit. The cater to Americans and it shows. The food is OK but not up to the standards we encountered elsewhere. And it is terribly overprices for the amount you receive. There are Americans everywhere singing American songs. I can do that at home. Not recommended.Dear Ruth R.,thank you for your review. I totally remember the night you are talking about, because we normally play a mix of ambiance music and not only American music (although we really like American music and most of all we like being spontaneous in everything we do, so at our place there are not cliche like playing only Italian old classics etc. ) ..... That particular night at the end of Semptember (when you visited us), we had family friends from San Francisco visiting and while they were here they got a bad news from home, so our goal playing some music we use to listen to when we are there was to cheer them up nothing else... and that was only for 30 min or less by the end of the night.... About our food, I'm sorry it was not of your total satisfaction... our dishes are typical Florentine dishes, we have the same recipes since my great grandparents started the business in 1906 and for the Italian standard our portions are considered generous .....All the bestMatteo

Mi sono fermato a prendere delle torte/crostate sotto consiglio di amici che abitano in zona... devo dire che avevano proprio ragione! Crostate buonissime! Forse un po' caro ma ci può stare... LA QUALITà SI PAGA!

Found this place searching through TripAdvisor for a place open early for dinner. And it was awesome!!!!Ordered a number of different plates and shared (bruschetta, meat and cheese, etc). The food was fresh, super yummy and plentiful. And great value too!The best part was the service though! So friendly and helpful, it really made the night! Already planning our return!

It was a wonderful experience to goto Dispensa and have lunch with tradition Tuscan specialities! Itâs high quality products and varieties and the Andrea Parrini the owner is a great, very simpatic and give you a warm welcome ! He can explain you all the varieties of Tuscan cheeses, hams and wines and itâs a good value for money... I was very happy to be there and I bought some bottles of Chianti wine according to Andrea Parrini recommendation. itâs a very agreable and intimist place in the heart of the Chianti ,Tuscany, I love this paese ! Grazie Andrea! Caro Amico!

Called in here for a light lunch while driving to our villa from the airport. The greeting was warm and friendly, the selection of local meats and cheese was superb, accompanied by some good beer. All reasonably priced. A lucky find

Charming restaurant with fantastic food. Staff spoke excellent English. We had a large party and were seated in a lovely back room (all to ourselves). I'll be dreaming about the squash blossoms and panna cotta for years to come. And the pork was so soft and moist - everything was amazing. Chef made pasta with olive oil and parmesean off the menu for my kids - so accomodating. Many many thanks for your kind review, it will be shared with the staff, we appreciate you loved our "cellar" in the back of the restaurant,as well as the menu' we served, Thank you very much indeed,I Malavvezzi.

Cucina casalinga-family business
Service was friendly and food excellent. Restaurant appeared to be for locals more than tourists which is always a good sign. The prosciutto and the pastas where fantastic. Did order a tomato soup that was more of a bowl of crushed tomatoes than a soup but nothing that we couldn't handle.

The Rinuccio 1180 is a wonderful, bistrot-style restaurant in the heart of the Chianti countryside, in the renowned Antinori winery. The food menu features canât-go-wrong Italian staples. The duck ragout pasta was an unassuming yet superbly fitting accompaniment to one of the wineryâs top products, the Sangiovese based Tignanello. It is a pricey wine but a must have experience for all wine lovers.
