The name Hickinbotham boasts a legacy in wine making since 1936. Wines are grown, made and bottled onsite and more recently [2006] the Hix microbrewery was established with brewer and 4th generation son, Jake Hickinbotham, brewing award winning craft beer
Arrived to late for a meal, but the menu looked great and we will be back. Had a beer paddle instead. Very interesting range of beers and we all came away with some. Wine to try as well.

Having packed up and left an unremarkable Mornington Peninsular venue, I sought out somewhere to enjoy a nice cheese platter and good wine. I was not disappointed in this venue.Husband and I shared blue cheese and a delicious duck pate platter, along with one of the best chardonnays and Pinot Noir's the Peninsular has to offer. In addition, we did a wine tasting, their reserve Pinot Noir is very good and we plan to cellar a couple of bottles to drink in the future. The service was excellent. Incredibly knowledgeable staff front of house and we got seated in front of a big open fire - perfect for the first day of winter. The venue serves a number of good lunch time dishes, so we will certainly return again in the future. Turned around an otherwise unpleasant afternoon.

Only a chance visit to the seemingly speciality store. Has a lovely set up and an inciting menu on offer. The coffee is really great and whilst we didn't actually take a tour we will consider this option when we get back.

The most reliable, good value, French restaurant around. Crunched a Cote de Boeuf and washed down with Heathcote Shiraz. A must do.

Open seven days a week, the TâGallant Cellar Door and Spuntino Bar â the home of Pinot Grigio in Australia - is nestled amongst the rolling hills of Main Ridge on the Mornington Peninsula. Drop in for a tasting or grab a table in our large outdoor piazza
Shared tables in gorgeous shady surroundings, with gentle live music floating across the chatter of other diners. We were a party of eleven and enjoyed pizzas, charcuterie, cheeses, and a rather delicious red capsicum hummus. Tiramisu was creamy and excellent and chocolate brownies were huge!Hi there,Thanks for your great review of our pizzeria. We like to think our desserts are the unsung heroes of our menu - glad you agree too! We hope to see you again.CheersThe T'Gallant Team

Polperro is nestled among the vines and shaded by ancient Angophora trees on a stunning 25 acre property in the heart of the famous wine region Red Hill, Mornington Peninsula. Our aim is to create a synergy between the vineyard and kitchen, and incorporat
My husband took me to Polperro Restaurant for lunch on my birthday... we were overwhelmed by the winery grounds, loved seeing the veggie garden at the front of the Restaurant building, brilliant idea of using local produce, canât be as fresh as picking produce from the winery veggie garden. We decided on the tour menu, small selection of dishes. $90 per person food only and with matching wines, $150 per person. We thoroughly enjoyed the food there. The outlook from the restaurant wasnât bad either. I believe that if you book prior to 12:30pm seating, you have a 2 hour seating. After that, you can stay longer than 2 hours. If you eat outside (unless it is over the busy summer period), you have a smaller menu to choose from. Staff were friendly. We did find the restaurant got a bit noisy when it was nearly full. Apart from that, we enjoyed the food and wine at Polperro Restaurant.

Wine is made to drink with food. If you come to try our wines you may stay for a light lunch in our cellar door of small plates to share.
Iâve been here a number of times and have always enjoyed the feed me menu. The variety of food is great and is to my liking and I feel full afterwards. I also like that bread is offered at the start of the meal which is also super fresh and tasty. The single vineyard Pinot is really nice also. I think $34 for the feed me menu is really good pricing. I have never ordered single dishes but I would agree with other people who have given their review that it would be quite expensive and non-substantial to order single dishes for $12 each. If the feed me menu continues to be available for $34, Iâll definitely be back.
