Staggering beauty and heart-pumping thrills await in the resort town of Queenstown, which is also known for its Hobbits—much of the Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed in the area. Outdoor enthusiasts flock to Queenstown for the kayaking, bungee jumping, jetboating, white-water rafting, hiking and skiing. More mild-mannered adventurers can take a quiet cruise through nearby Milford Sound, part of the Fjordland National Park World Heritage area, or sample South Island pinot noir from one of the region's 75 wineries.

On the main track along the lakefront, in central Queenstown, this bar offers great views of the lake, the Queenstown trail, the docking area for the ferries and the hydro and is an excellent place for people watching. Good bartender and great selection of wines and beers

Meet Early, Stay Late, thatâs our motto. The best nights are the unplanned ones, those spontaneous gatherings with old friends or meeting a few new ones, where you donât need to be somewhere else and everything you need is right here; exceptional service,
Awesome lounge with cozy fireplaces and has a great selection of comfort food. We shared the vegetarian platter between three people and it was more than filling. It had a wide selection of cheeses, breads, veggie fritters and the best sweet chutney! âI Am Kiwiâ is the perfect drink for a lady which is fruity and vodka based - good for an evening out with the girls or to order on a date night. The guys ordered chocolate espresso martinis and a spicy chocolate margarita which were delicious as well. Be sure to check out the Sun Deck above Attiqa and I suggest booking reservations in advance as the tables get filled quickly! The rooftop has an amazing view of the water and of the mountains of Queenstown. Sit around the fire with a group of friends and enjoy the wide selection the menu has to offer. They have unique dishes for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. The cheese fondue was delicious and their chocolate fondue was the perfect dessert. Thanks again for the great vibe and awesome food! Weâll be sure to come back next time our travels brings us to Queenstown.

An iconic bar and the perfect intimate venue to enjoy a true Queenstown experience... This sumptuous up-market venue is all about service, the huge open fire, knowledgeable staff and great music. Bardeauxâs extensive wine and cocktail menu only adds to th
Down an alley this is a small bar with a big drinks list. If you love a whiskey then I doubt there is a bigger selection in Queenstown. We enjoyed a bottle of Champagne and a local Pinot Noir.Service was fine but not as warm as the huge fireplace. We go here each time we are in Queenstown - recommend.

We first came to this winery with a private big group for tour & dinner. It is about 20-30min outside Queenstown. Grounds are beautiful! We walked in to be given a glass & ushered to a private âsmall groupâ area (broke off from big group) and given a talk about the place, its history & wines, and small tasting. Very very nice! Then toured a cellar. Then off to dinner for the whole big group in a beautifully decorated barn that still holds & displays barrels-really cool! Dinner & wines were delicious! Their wines are really good! I usually do not drink so when I do, typically I get dizzy quickly& get a headache. No such thing here. Which tells me their product is very good quality! We were told in fact that they are working on getting an Organic certification. We got on their wine club list not bc they âsold us on itâ, but bc I honestly can say Iâd drink this again, share it with our friends & be confident I wonât feel bad. We returned here on our way out of town & had lunch at the restaurant. The food was even better, dare I say the best weâve had in Queenstown. Clean, farm to table like, finished our plates! Would most definitely recommend! (The Shotover jet boat place is on way from Q to here, and so is bungy Jump bridge- 5min away, if this helps you plan a half day)Hi Travel_the_world11,Thank you for your feedback, we will pass onto the team. All the bestTeam GV

Modern New Zealand cuisine served Tapas style with tasting plates. Fresh, local produce. Outstanding wine selection and brilliant cocktail list. Please note it is not possible to reserve tables - Eichardt's is a small bar with 7 tables only, bookings are
Been here before and still a great place to visit and eat. Relaxing interior with pleasant view of waterfront. Had a few different serves of tapas. All well cooked and tasty. Had a mocktail that was delicious. Wait staff friendly and efficient. Nothing to complain about and a nice place to spend time and relax

Located on the water's edge in the heart of beautiful Queenstown, Little Blackwood tempts you with a delightful cocktail menu, local beers and wines, signature cheese & meat boards, and tapas style offerings. Grab a drink and enjoy the million dollar view
We popped in for a few drinks in happy hour. Lovely mulled cherry wine and a good list of beer. Very nice choice of cheese and meats and few other little tapas options such as squid/pork bites and chips. The big negative about this place was the music was lovely but so bloody load. We had to yell to hear each other - then add a few more people yelling over music onto that and it becomes terribly noisy and hard to think. It is only a small bar. Approx 10 sets at the bar and another 30 or so seated comfortably inside so if itâs busy (like it was by the fine we left) it was just too much noise and bumping against strangers. None the less lovely cocktail list, drinks and tapas menu. If you walk past and it looks less filled check it out. They also have a tiny outdoor seating section looking over the water.
