We found this place through TA and it didnât disappoint, whilst we had to wait for a table (you canât reserve) the wait is very much worth it. Itâs ideally placed between the old town and the new town. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious, the chicken waffles are great but the French toast was delicious. Their coffee and juices were also well worth it and good value for money IMO. We ended up coming there everyday we were in Prague it was that good. Would thoroughly recommend it! This was a business dinner with people mainly having a full menu. The food was great or even excellent for most parts while the waiter forgot to deliver one dish for one colleague. Good wine and beer pairing suggestions were offered. Would go there again. But be aware of the local taxi in Prague. They tried to fool as while arriving to the restaurant from the airport but the taxi ended up with getting nothing.

Simone and her husband found the perfect answer to that question: you open a restaurant, hire an excellent cook, only purchase first class products and make your "customers" welcome. L´Equilibrista is tucked away in a quiet street, in a residential area about 15 minutes from the old town. In the summer you can eat al fresco on the street, or walk down a few steps and discover the real restaurant, stylish, not snobbish. Food is Italian, really Italian not the bland export that passes for Italian. Portions are human size, not the microscopic version favoured by too many of the starred restaurants. Wines only a worth the visit. Highly recommended. They are doing an excellent balancing act :-)). I´d go back any time I am in Prague.

Saw all the good reviews and they were well deserved. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who advised on wine choice and a limited but tasty menu. We booked and got the last table, but there are only about 5 so good job we rang ahead! It looks nothing from the outside, but obviously does well on word of mouth as it was packed the whole time were there and lots of people were turned away. It was a very enjoyable and inexpensive experience.
