Poseidonia (Greek: Ποσειδωνία, named after Poseidon) is a village and a former municipality on the island of Syros, in the Cyclades, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Syros-Ermoupoli, of which it is a municipal unit. The population was 3,893 inhabitants at the 2011 census, and the land area is 23.705 km². The municipal unit shares the island of Syros with the municipal units of Ano Syros and Ermoupoli. It is also known as Dellagrazia (name taken from a small church of Maria della Grazia).

Lots of choices in Ermoupolis and this was a winner. The well hidden restaurant is located in a surrounded outdoor garden area with well placed lighting that create a real ambiance. I will say that it was very hot when we visited and it is important to pick a table under a fan if there is not much air moving. Menu is typical of most nicer restaurants and as I recall we had some sort seafood. Service is good as was the cuisine and had we been staying longer would have returned. A bit more expensive than many in town but still a good value considering the experience. Would recommend this restaurant while you are in Ermoupoli.

The most exquisite wine restaurant in the city. I had the most joyful time while dining there. The wine collection is so astonishing and carefully selected. All the ingredients were fresh. The salad was very balanced like all the dishes I tasted of course. Would definitely recommend without a doubt.

Nice evening family dinner. A place when you can find fresh fish from the near fishermen harbr .do not serve greek wine only Italian .excellent service.

Definitely skip this spot. The waiters either suffer from ADD or simply donât care. The only consistency of the business is the utter lack of attention to detail. If there is a manager he should be replaced. A glass of wine is almost twice as much as the vastly better neighboring bars and cafes. I have been here on eight visits with friends and itâs always the same. Never again!

Entrance is at the steps of a cobbled stone road, nearby South Aegean Region building, this lovely restaurant has relaxed atmosphere. Cosy and lovely decorated. Smoking is not allowed inside. Food is excellent, including salads, starters and mains with meat, chicken and spaghetti. Live music is also present sometimes, and it's really cool....
