Located right on the beach, it is a very relaxing place. We had the chicken wings with BBQ sauce, you get 3 wings, 6 pieces for 7.50' not great value but the wings were grilled with a lovely glacé , the ba sauce is served in a seperate bowl. They were lovely, we order a second serve. We also had the cactus salad, very nice.

We had a 20 minute walk into town, which gave my wife and I a decent appetite. Just as well...The restaurant is located in a charming lane in an old part of town, near a large number of craft and jewellery shops. Our waiter was charming and we soon had a tasty local white wine in front of us as we considered the menu. My wife liked the look of the sardine bruschetta and the zucchini balls were my entree of choice. My wife ordered the beetroot risotto - and I had no idea! I asked for suggestions, saying my only restriction was that I did not feel like meat - too heavy for the evening. He suggested the spaghetti alla vongole. We were entertained by a dozen playful cats as we waited for the food (and wondered about all the rules that would prevent this from happening in Australia). The meal was truly delicious, from the delicate zucchini puffs (in filo pastry) to the bolder sardines and back again to the subtle pasta and risotto. As we stayed away from the bread at the start of the meal, this was the first time we were able to finish two courses (no space for dessert , but we were given two delicious dessert wines to finish with). Everything about the night was wonderful. The location, the friendly staff and of course, the food. Not cheap (70€) by local standards, but far less than we would pay for a special meal in Australia.

Ela Paros

Ela restaurant is all about wine, bubbly, music, and the right bites to accompany all of that. With a different 'wine by the glass' menu every day, as well as different dishes from the kitchen, you can be sure to always be surprised and discover new taste

This place is in the centre of Parikia and it looks ordinary until you get your fist plate and the wine. a creative chef that combines greek cuisine with mediteranian arab food.the results are refreshing (shrimps falafel) and finally not boring like the traditional greek food that you can find in every taverna over and over again. the menu varies according to the market finds and the wine list is extremely varied and good. (the owners is a certified sommelier) i keep going there and i love it!!!
