The dishes just kept coming and each one was absolutely delicious. Lots of love and thought put into the selection and preparation. Service was delightful and beyond helpful. His local wine recommended was spot on. This is the place to have authentic Puglia cuisine and a wonderful evening.

Friendly and attentive staff. Great interior and a great terrace. Two aperitifs, two starters, two mains, a bottle of wine and water and coffee was 65 Euros.

Il Cucco

I had the aubergine starter, which was four rolled slices of aubergine baked with a sweetish breadcrumb topping. It was like an aubergine crumble. For my main I had lamb encrusted with pistachios. It was four smallish pieces, with bones, served with a large portion of cabbage. It didn't work for me; I bit on tiny hard pieces which I don't know if they were nutshell or bone. My partner had seared tuna which was not much better, a large portion, but the artichoke it came with was very salty and the sun-dried tomatoes very sweet. They didn't have the white beer I ordered, so I settled for an IPA, which tasted nice but had a slightly unpleasant aroma. We also asked for a large bottle of still water, but were told they didn't sell this... the choice was a small still bottle or a medium slightly sparking one.I would not return.

Perbacco - Ristorante Vineria

If your looking for this restaurant you might get two addresses for it, it has an entrance on both streets, so both are good. I have lived in the area for nearly 4 years now and at the moment I am trying to visit a different restaurant every week. I must say that this has been one of the best so far. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, we were welcomed immediately on arrival and shown to our table. The interior is traditional with modern fixtures and furnishings, it works well. We were served a very small taster before our antipasti arrived, a tiny beef burger garnished with red onion and a salsa. For starters we shared a couple of antipasti, one local capocollo which was served with a small quiche and the second were finely slice vegetables in filo pastry served with an excellent red onion jam. Very good.Main course we both had pork, cooked with a crust of sesame seeds, it was moist and wonderful. To accompany it we had rosemary potatoes, small cubes oven roasted. We decided against a desert, but they brought us a couple of samples anyway. There was a creamy moose served in a cappuccino cup, very rich so just enough and then a slice of pistachio type cake with a delicious rose flavoured ice cream. Service was professional and friendly throughout. We didn’t have the waiter arriving every two minutes to ask if everything was alright. There was a decent wine list all reasonably priced. For two people, wine, water, 2 antipasti, 2 mains and a contorno it was just under €70. Good value. Gentile Jameshill007, grazie mille per la sua dettagliata recensione.Saulo Addari chef/titolare
