Find out what Wine Bar restaurants to try in Osoyoos. Osoyoos (/ɒˈsuːjuːs/, historically /ˈsuːjuːs/) is the southern-most town in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia between Penticton and Omak. Near the border with Washington state, the town is also adjacent to the Indian Reserve of the Osoyoos Indian Band. The origin of the name Osoyoos was the word sẁiẁs (pronounced "soo-yoos") meaning "narrowing of the waters" in the local Okanagan language (Syilx'tsn). The "O-" prefix is not indigenous in origin and was attached by settler-promoters wanting to harmonize the name with other place names beginning with O in the Okanagan Country (Oliver, Omak, Oroville, Okanogan). There is one local newspaper, the Osoyoos Times.

A really lovely spot to enjoy a nice lunch and wine. Highly recommend this patio restaurant. We enjoyed our charcuterie and salmon. Needless to say, the wine was awesome and we bought several bottles. The server, I believe her name was Sam, was attentive, friendly and provided exceptional service. Can't wait to come back!

Our evening service includes a range of local wines, and dessert wines along with our feature sweets. The Restaurant at Watermark seats 30 with light plates and a selection of gourmet charcuterie and house made desserts. During the wine season and summer
The Restaurant at Watermark is a fabulous dining destination in Osoyoos, from its excellent service, to its spectacular view, delicious food, and great wine list!We have dined here several times, and it's always perfect. This time we shared the charcuterie plate, which was excellent (I loved the peach chutney!), and then I had the Arctic Char (except it was substituted with wild salmon because they had run out of char - either way, it was perfect). And we shared the cheesecake for dessert (OMG - it's SO good!).Highly recommended, and we will be sure to go again the next time we're in Osoyoos!

Spirit Ridge proudly sits on the traditional land of the Syilx People of the Okanagan Nation. Our inspiration for the name of the restaurant comes from chaptik stories of the first aboriginals to live in the Okanagan. The Syilx People of the Okanagan Nati
