We came here for an early evening meal. It was delicious. The service was very friendly and helpful at first, unfortunately when the restaurant got a little busier a, about half full, the service dropped significantly in quality and it took up to ten minutes to get any attention. We still enjoyed this place enough, despite that to come back too days later. The wine selection was great, we opted for a birth Portuguese one, this was delicious. For food we had lots of small plates, the prawns wrapped in some sort of moo and deep fried were absolute heaven! Lovely restaurant.

Etc&Tal comes from the latin et cetera wich means "and so on..." and our vision is to become a reference as place with a diversity of wines from small portuguese producers (more than 60) along with mediterranean (mostly portuguese) tapas and other interna
Great selection of "petiscos" and then a few dishes, including risotto, steak and 2 basmati-based mixes. Very friendly service (by the owners) and cosy atmosphere.Everything we had (mushroom risottos, mushroom steak, gorgonzola steak and one of the Thai-inspired basmati rices with lots of good stuff (inluding peanuts!) was very good. The "petiscos" were also very good (cogumelos à Bulhão Pato, favas com linguiça and ovos com alheira).A place to recommend...and to come back shortly

Paco de Arcos is definitely on the rise, with much money being tastefully spent on renovating old buildings and residences. It's also good to see some better shops appearing, but without overwhelming the old charmIt was lunchtime, and finding Patio Italiano closed - we thought for good but apparently just until the end of the year I now discover - we chanced upon this place very nearby ....... It looks to be a recent openingThough we did not venture inside, it looked very nicely appointed, and in other circumstances would certainly be tempted back in the evening for few glasses of wine or whatever, or even to eat lightlyOutside, there were a number of tables and plentiful umbrellas to give welcome shadeThe menu was principally hamburgers (as it says on tin!) but there was also a good selection of salads, which was actually what we wantedWe both opted for the couscous salad with prawns and were delighted with what was delivered. It scored on all fronts from presentation to content and flavourAt ⬠9.50 it wasn't especially cheap, but all tings taken into consideration, we felt it was very fair valueWe shall return

Highly recommend! Located in a local area, might be a little bit of a walk but absolutely worth it! Very cute inside and has a good size patio. The owners are very friendly, and our service was great! We loved everything we ordered - but 2 items really stood out to me - the gazpacho soup, packed with flavor and super refreshing, and the tuna steak - absolutely phenomenal! Very fresh tuna, simply cooked and so delicious! Melts in your mouth! I'm usually very picky about my tuna, and I was very impressed with this one - highly recommend! It also comes with 2 pieces, so would be good to share. Portions are a good size, so 2 soups, 1 board or a cold plate, and 1 hot plate is plenty of food for 2 people.
