We attended Crab Farm Winery for dad's 80th birthday where 19 guests were in attendance. It was a busy time for them but the staff handled it so well and gave us the best service. Gemma made everything easy for us from our initial inquiry to bringing out the birthday cake at the end. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the selection of wines. We love the atmosphere and decor - its a funky place with a huge fire which is warm and inviting.

We went to the winery to try some wines and they were fine but not exceptional.The lunch was outside and it was excellent - a lovely area to sit in and the service was fantastic, we were made to feel extremely welcome. I really enjoyed the food very much and there was a good choice too. When we were there there were quite a lot of building works going on which restricted the parking but obviously that will only be temporary.

The Gap Cafe in Napier is one of those little treasures of eateries that you stumble across in most cases by accident, that's how we found it.Tucked up a "duck through" gap between the beach main st & the main shopping area, is this delightful little hideaway coffee house/cafe.The food here is above the average coffee house/cafe quality sandwiches & snacks. The "Rare Roast Lamb"on a bagel type roll with The Gap secret dressing is melt in your mouth stuff & the "Eggs Benedict with Salmon" is to die for & the Coffees & Hot Chocolates are excellent as well.A real hide-out for lovers or lovers of coffee.Thank you so much for your kind review! We are very happy to hear you loved our cafe, food and coffee as we strive to be a step above just as you described. We have just updated our menu coming into winter.
