Come and join us at the Glass House. An ideal place to meet with friends and enjoy the original vineyard setting of Chateau Carbonneau. Our Wine Bar and Tea House offers a wide range of tea selections, coffee, local wines together with tapas, country plat
We were recommended Le Glass House for lunch. The food was exquisite, the setting magnificent and the service excellent. They do a Plat du Jour at a very reasonable price. Their wines are available for sale, again very reasonable priced. An excellent place for lunch overlooking the vineyard.

Recommended by a close family member during our recent , very good vacation in the area.Wanted a vegetarian meal for my wife ,some where new, we haven't been to before.Staff a touch slow in attending to our arrival , table was booked, outside. The lady spent must of her time talking to other guests even knowing we had been sitting there of approx 15mins. Table booked for 1930hrs.There is no " great " view from outside, you look at the road, car park or the building . Inside looks very good and obviously had a lot of thought and investment.Menu limited , my wife had the mixed fish main course and was disappointed, she just picked at it. My meat dish , steak , was red/ raw inside and burnt on the outside. Now to be fair I like my steaks well done, with a brown inside. The other waitress, I understand is also a co owner , did question me re my request for a well done steak, quote " that will ruin the meat and it's not the way we recommend in this restaurant " . So I have had better cooked steaks. At one stage , before we ordered our drinks , we discussed leaving and going some where else. In hindsight, we should have done. Dear Sir,I'm sorry your dinner in our restaurant did not please you.We make daily efforts to satisfy our customers but we do not always succeed.Indeed, our terrace is located at the edge of a road and near a parking lot, but I never promised anything else !...Best regards.Anne-Marie GALINEAU

A simple place, perfect for a lighting lunch. We each chose from a selection of platters - mainly charcuterie and cheese, served with lovely fresh bread. When we were ready to order wine, we were three samples to taste from the friendly waitress, who explained the qualities of each. The one we chose was one of the best on the visit. Very good value.

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant in August 2019. We picked it based on TripAdvisor reviews as we wanted to have dinner in downtown Saint-Emilion. My boyfriend made a reservation via phone, but when we arrived at the restaurant for our 6pm (18:00) reservation, we were informed that the restaurant didnt open until 7pm (in spite of the fact that our reservation was indeed written down for 6pm), so we were forced to kill time for an hour. Upon arriving for our actual dinner, the decor of the restaurant was very cute. However, as other diners mentioned, the service was quite slow and we were itching to get out of there (although this may be our American standards). In terms of the menu, we thought it was just OK. A lot of the dishes were a bit out there compared to what we were used to, even while traveling around France. I had oysters, which were definitely fresh, but were served with several tablespoons of saltwater in each oyster. (I am not sure if this is the French style but it definitely wasn't what I was used to). My boyfriend got a sausage dish that was really out there as well. The food was OK, but we didn't think it was anything to write home about and we wished we had eaten at our hotel rather than killing time in downtown Saint-Emilion waiting to dine here.

Dear Travelers, you are welcome.Restaurant & Bar à Vins (about 600 references). Bistronomic kitchen in season and according to the market. Twenty regional wines served by the glass. A friendly welcome and shifted in good humor.
A small, intimate place at the northern end of St. Emilion. We were warmly greeted and seated by our host Sylvan, although it was a Saturday evening and, having just arrived after a 6 hour drive, we had not made a reservation. Nevertheless, we were welcomed and enjoyed a delightful meal with foie gras, a ribeye steak for two (perfectly cooked) and a variety of other seasonal dishes. Service was attentive. We were the last to leave, and when I asked our host where I could buy some milk the next morning (Sunday, probably everything local would be closed), Sylvan sent to the kitchen and gifted us a liter of milk. Such a kind and generous gesture to folks he was unlikely to see again anytime soon. But we will be back!
