We were walking the city late at night celebrating HRV Independence Day looking to eat lightly. We started speaking with Angelo (personable owner) outside who helped us with directions. He was SOOO engaging & nice we decided to enjoy cold appetizers here with he and his wife, Kristina. And what a treat this place is. This DEFINITELY IS a hidden gem, as other reviewers noted. Classy decor (1850âs furniture, 19th century military items and beautiful blue Dresden china). There are beautiful historical items throughout. And our selections were simply delicious: PaÅ¡ki Sir (Cheese) in olive oil, & marinated baby shrimp also in olive oil. Ahhh outstanding. Come in here to relax & eat & drink in this VERY special place on your next visit to Vis. Thank you very much for a nice review. It was a pleasure having you as a guests for that special day as Independence day is for Croatia.We really enjoyed having you with us, and we truly hope to see you again.

The restaurant is located on the old road from Komiza to Vis.The terrace has a nice shade, the interior is interestingAn excellent choice for brunch after the beach.Octopus salad is an excellent but small quantity.Komižka pie is not for recommendation.Wine Vugva great.To visit.

We were so happy and grateful when we successfully called ahead to make a booking for a buoy and dinner in early October. The family greeted us by dinghy with a warm, kind welcome. We took the cute stoney path to the restaurant where the grill fires were burning, the wine was chilled and the fresh fish was glistening - we knew we at the right place. The swordfish carpaccio and octopus salad were really delicious and served with puffy freshly-baked bread. Grilled squid were smokily tasty and the steak perfect quality.
