place is nice yet not luxurious. wine selection is huge and (correctly) highly focused on local stuff. nowhere else one can't get better selection of local wines and grappe. Bruno and Patty (the owners) have an encyclopedic knowledge and generously share it. they can't serve food but (especially if you seat outside) one can try to discretely smuggle in little snacks (nearby there's a great piadineria where you can get takeway pizza and piadina). my favorites are: white Nosiola (Poier & Sandri), red Moratel (Cesconi) and for the bubbles is a close match between Poier & Sandri and de Tarczal (always a tough choice). here one can also buy bottles to-go at grocery store prices, that makes of this THE place to stock up or simply to buy (with the advice of Bruno or Patty) a bottle for friends who invited yuo for dinner.yes, I confess I like the place A LOT and always come back here with pleasure and expecting yet another glass of great wine

The RIFUGIO ORTI awaits you in the summer on the Mezzana lakes path, while in winter on the slopes at the arrival of the Marilleva chairlift.
I do not understand how this place gets great reviews. We stopped for a drink and lunch mid march (self service). As we entered, the waitress at the bar was neither welcoming nor friendly. As I made an effort to speak Italian, she showed a kind of disrespectful expression on her face. No smile whatsoever. The food was average. The toilets were disgusting, not flushed. I should also mention that the self service area is soulless. Needless to stay that we will never return to this place.

We were walking down the street on our way to have dinner, when we heard lively music come out of this bar, people seemed to be having a great time, so we decided to get in and have a drink... oh boy, little did we know that we were in for a treat!! It was a Jam Session evening, so they had this off the roof guitarist/singer/harmonica player playing the best rock songs and asking all customers to join him on the singing - we had such an amazing time!!The owner is also super welcoming and makes sure everyone is having a great time, and joins us in on the partey! Loved it, loved it! The absolute highlight of our holiday in Malé!Thanks guys!! That's Maurizio on the photo ;)hello Nathalie and Maurizio, thanks so much for your super review and for the great evening we had together, waiting you for the next jam session :)Marco
