The food was below average, this should not be so high on the list of good restaurants in Verona. Itâs cheap thatâs about it. If this was voted 1000 then it would make sense. If people are rating a restaurant please say I loved it because itâs cheap. In my opinion this is not worth the effort to find it.

We ate here twice as part of a large group with children and the service was really good. The anti pasta boards are lovely and the mains we had were fantastic. Would particularly recommend the rabbit polenta and the gnocchi. Good wine too.

Make a point of hunting out this beautiful restaurant. We loved everything about it. Quite a quirky menu cooked to perfection - unless you have any of the meat and cheese platters to share as a starter, where cooking doesnât come into it, but brilliant pairings of chutneys, jams and vegetables do - and the service is wonderful, friendly and informative to go with the super ambience of the restaurant itself.....just go

We stayed in San Giorgio and this restaurant is just down the hill. We couldn't find a menu on line, so just went for it. It was different, no expected items, like pasta or rice. There were soups, salads, brushetta, sea food type things. While it was good, I think it could have been a bit larger selection. The person serving us was great (Sorry didn't catch his name), overall a good experience.

I can't review the restaurant but we called in to have a look at the Amarone wine, maybe try and buy some.Unfortunately the staff were more interested in the till and some paperwork, said hello when we entered and didnt say anything else. We wandered around for a few minutes, felt awkward and left. Wherever else you eat in Verona, it will be a serious omission if you do not try Cafe Carducci. A small family run restaurant, the very friendly owners Stefano and Benadetta, along with the other chef, create masterpieces from their small kitchen. The wine list is extensive, especially with Amarones. Our group tried two during one of our meals there and agreed that the first bottle, reasonably priced as these things go, was the best Amarone we have ever tasted. Whatever else you order, if you do not have at least one plate of gnocchi with black truffles, you will forever regret it. Ethereal, light as clouds, I have eaten it twice and plan on having some again when my wife and I return in a few days for our 30th anniversary meal. One last suggestion-whatever else you have for dessert (and donât even think about passing on it), try the pastry that Benedetta bakes that tastes like a crisp crumbly coffee cake. Yummy. Go there soon. Enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

While driving from wineries to wineries in the amazing Amarone region, we came across this little place that our friend Michelangelo had suggested (if you want to eat well in Italy, ask the locals). The love birds at the entrance did announce us in and we were seated in no time by the always courteous service man. We found the place to be quite lovely and the fact of encountering local tenants did tell me that we were in the right place. We did order as usual the local fare and again was not disappointed to try incredible rich and delightful tasting new plates, especially those not found anywhere else. We decided to ask for their advise regarding the wine and sure enough, the bottle was emptied before departing the place. We were very satisfied with food, service and ambiance, so definitely would like to be back again.

Very friendly waiter, AMAZING food and a nice atmosphere on the terrace with a lovely breeze. We got some nice wine recommendations too! We only had seafood: a nice platter of crudi (raw red shrimp, scampiâs and oysters) to start after that pasta with seafood and my husband had a pasta with a super velvety Taleggio sauce and fresh truffle. Worth every euro!
