My husband and I had an unplanned lunch here after a lazy two-hour pause at Caliceo, just next door. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, deco and service. Hubby had a huge perfectly-cooked steak with equally nice fries, and I had a plate of various types of sushi. I am Japanese-American and tend to be quite fussy about how sushi is made. Despite my uncertainty, the grains of sushi rice were still whole (which is a good sign), the rice was cold but not dry, and it was well seasoned. The fish melted in my mouth. Then I tried the makis. I chewed slowly and could not identify what I was eating. Then I smelled it -- strawberries! Totally unexpected. My taste buds were absolutely titillated. I do not know if my mom, who is not a hyphenated Japanese, would like it, but I am still raving about it 7 months later.

We are open from April to october
Good food, well prepared and presented. The owner was warm and smiley, came with different wines and let us try and choose our favourites (even though we only ordered our wines by the glass). We had some meats, cheese, salads and very tasty meat balls which we definetely recommend. We sat outside and enjoyed our brunch. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for few days during our stay so we didnât have the opportunity to try more dishes or have a dinner at this place. All in one, a good place to have a brunch and enjoy a glass of wine and a meal. Merci beaucoup ! You are lovely!!!!! See you soon!!!!

Des produits frais, du vin nature et un coin de Catalogne.
Called in on the off chance of getting a table and the warmth of the welcome from the owner was superb and refreshing. The menu which changes daily was enticing and each plate proved to be delicious , following fascinating discussions with the owner he chose a wine that suited our tastes for each course which made the experience even more enjoyable. We enjoyed it that much we booked again for the following night -Via del Vi is a must if your in Perpignan.
