There can't be many semi rural restaurants that are full on Thursday evening, The boat House was. With a varied menu, swift service, excellent ingredients and a warm welcome we found a little gem in the Vale of Glamorgan. The restaurant has ample car parking a choice of local ales and a good selection of wine. It won't be long until we are back.

Nice vibe at this place. Thought weâd try the cheese board, £9.95 for a sharer board. But Iâd say it was enough for 1-2 people for a shared board. Maybe add a bit more for value for money? Will definitely visit again.
