Restaurant de spécialités locales, nous ne proposons que des produits frais issus de producteurs tarnais. Le menu et servi midi et soir dans la limite des quantités préparées, nous avons aussi une carte pour vous satisfaire.
We had a very nice meal here of good quality. The guinea fowl and home made rolls were lovely. The ardoise mixte was also very good, although very plain. Some garnish of melon or tomato would have been nice with it. The Tarnaise salad was tiny. A starter, not a main meal. We were also served two glasses of warm rose wine. Very unpleasant. When I queried it with the waitress she seemed surprised that we should want it chilled but offered to fetch us some ice. Weâve lived in France for 15 years and have never been served warm rose. Maybe itâs an Albi speciality?

Tried this place based on TripAdvisor reviews but we were disappointed. The space itself is pleasant, but we were shocked when we saw the least expensive menu on Saturday afternoon was 31 euros! In Albi, this is extremely expensive. Comparable restaurants have a menu for about 18 euros. There is a less expensive menu--but only available Tuesday through Friday. My starter was a soggy, squash tartlet. The limp crust spoiled whatever chance it had. It was served with a small container of tepid squash soup on a cuttingboard with a sprinkling of hazelnuts down the middle. I left most of mine--but the waiter did not inquire as he removed the plate if we were happy. The next course was billed as smoked trout and scampi. It had a sort of nouvelle cuisine appearance: two cylinders of soft fish wrapped around half a shrimp sitting in a puddle of dreary lobster bisque (from a tin?).Maybe the real chef was ill or on vacation. That is the most charitable conclusion I can draw from this awful meal. With only two glasses of white wine, a bottle of mineral water and coffees, the bill for four came to about 140 euros. While we were trying to enjoy our coffees, the waiter cleaned the table next door with some product whose antiseptic smell wafted over us. We wondered if this was a technique to get lingering tables to leave. The music seemed to have gotten louder too. We live in the area and will NEVER be visiting this place again.

Notre établissement vous accueille entre midi et deux avec des salades maison, entrecôte, magret, hamburger maison accompagné de frites maison, un poisson du jour accompagné d'une poêlée de légumes, ainsi que des desserts maison. à partir de 18 heures l'é
Advertised as a 'tapas' and wine bar, the tapas are generous in size and you really don't need more than one and a half per person. Very reasonable prices, and each dish prepared with care (homemade!). The magret was excellent, as was the deconstructed tarte au citron. Great atmosphere, very young, although a bit noisy for conversation. Excellent service, even for me and my food intolerances. Only four stars cause for me this wasn't really a tapas bar, so don't go with a high expectation for traditional tapas!
