We went there because we had to take the night train back to Hanoi and wanted something to eat nearby. I checked TripAdvisor and saw that this restaurant had some good review. I got the grilled chicken because many here recommended it. But seriously? The mountain food we had the last 7 days was better. Rather a bowl of noodles then trying this chicken and place again. 2 stars because the staff was friendly..
Located on 10th floor of Hotel de la Coupole, MGallery by Sofitel in Sapa, Vietnam, rooftop bar Absinthe featuring the finest combination of wine, cocktails, and tapas in a grand and glitzy yet subdued setting located on the 10th floor overlooking the Sap
When I walked into Absinthe, if not because of the bar counter, I would mistaken this place as a Textile Museum like the one in St. Gallen Switzerland.Very beautiful decor and there is an upper floor with some exhibits on threads.Love the haute couture theme with laces and fur decor.Furnitures can be seen with Sapa hemp brocade. There was happy hour promo during my stay, 12:00-19:00, 50% off total bill.Perhaps it was low season, and we had the whole bar for ourselves that afternoon.Favorite drinks: The Chrysanthemum and The French Blonde
Everything in this restaurant was perfect. We ordered Passion fruit juice, carrot juice, Noodle soup with seafood and fried seafood egg rolls. This place wasn't cheap, but it was good. Nothing out of this world obviously. If you have the stomach for it - you should eat all food in Vietnam from the street vendors. That's where the food is the best.
We had lunch with Vietnamese Style fish and BBQ pork ribs. The food was good with reasonable price (from 55.000 VND to 65.000 VND as I remember). There was also vegetarian food. Staff could not speak English but the owner spoke very well. I love the cozy decoration there. It is about 3km from Lao Cai train station.

Stopped here for lunch enroute to Sapa. We were a tour group and the food was pre-ordered so we were served as soon as we arrived. We had a wide range of dishes and they all tasted good. The service was fast and though they did not speak much English, we had no complaints.

After a few disappointments in Sapa, we stumbled across this restaurant. Vietnamese food as really good, prices average and the service was very friendly and good. Fresh vegetarian spring rolls were the best we had in Vietnam. Highly recommend.

I went there with my friends. Honestly we had a lot of fun because the local were really friendly and hospitable. I love children here with smiley make me lots of emotion. Moreover, everything is absolutely stunning though you have to walk a lot. If you have a chance to get Sa Pa, don't miss this place!

The food was just okay, we had higher expectations from the good reviews. We visited during lunch time and had to wait really long for our food to arrive.
