If you're visiting Fairfax and looking for a nice and authentic Vietnamese Restaurant, East Wind is your Best Bet.
First pho place I've visited in Northern VA after being introduced to pho a year back. This pho best my favorite restaurant down in richmond.Ordered their chicken white meat pho (#25) - fresh and delicious. It also came along with some free rice crackers. Food came out super quick (3-5 minutes once I ordered). Customer service was fantastic and super attentive. At the end of the dinner, they surprised me with a dessert on the house (flan?) - too kind of them. Will be back!

I had no idea this was here. Incredible service, delicious and super-fresh food. Nice atmosphere. This has it all. I had Pad Thai and sparkling sake and my husband had the pork sandwich with a mango tea. Outstanding. And bonus - free parking!

Viet House is our favorite for Viet food in the western Fairfax area. Good food, generous servings and reasonable prices. Pho is always good with rich broth, plenty of meat, bean sprouts, mint and lime. We also like the bun bo hue soup which is central Vietnam style; unlike pho, it has heavier lemon grass noodles with beef shank and a ham hock (may not be for everyone's taste). Bun vermicelli also quite tasty. Service is good and efficient in typical terse Asian style without a lot of conversation. The place is nicely decorated (not fancy) and clean. Unlike many Viet places, the hoisin, hot sauce and pepper containers on the table are clean and not sticky. Lots of different dishes are available and we've not been disappointed over the years.
